AMAZING authentic Salvadorian Papusa and tamales. Hands down some of the best I have ever eaten. The kind lady making the food was very generous with the beans and cheese unlike some places that offer you very little filling in your papusa. The cabbage is the perfect blend of sweetness of the onions and cabbage and sour from the pickling. The tamales- amazing – there are no other words to describe them. I could literally make my self sick from eating so many. The ladies behind the counter were so kind and fast! She had just made fresh bread and gave us a sample!! Soft sweet warm rolls loaded with butter!! The restaurant had several customers but it was a quiet and restful place to enjoy your food. This will be a frequent stop for us!! I simply love everything this restaurant has to offer!!

I believe most people order to go. I did not want to walk back across the street and eat in my truck.
I had two tacos and one pupusas. Food is good and fresh. Great break from the run of the mill.

Ordered 6 pupusas chicharon and cheese. Hardley any time no chicharon. I’ve gotten them before but thus time they were not good. No flavor and the cortigo wasn’t good.

Me and my husband order food from here the Pupusas are good but we order a barbacoa plate and she told me the plate was 15$ and am like can I see the plate and as the picture shows that’s what they gave me for 15$ dollar I told her this is not worth 15dollar the barbacoa was super dry like old barbacoa she even got mad when I asked to put more meat or beans she said the meat is very expensive and which I understand but am pretty sure for what am paying they could of done way better and the picture there shows the plate with the extra meat at first there was barely no meat, the daughter was nice and told her mom to put some beans on the plate but it was not good at all I usually buy Pupusas from here but definitely the barbacoa is not good at all and the lady seemed to me that she got mad but that’s not even a plate you can even tell in the picture the meat is dry and old

I first had Anna Cecelia’s pupusas at the Alma flea market. I think I’ve tried all the varieties and they’re all delicious! I heard that she had a restaurant now but didn’t know where until recently. Here it is! And the food is just as delicious! She has a bigger variety of dishes at the restaurant and I look forward to trying new things next time.
PS
She still does the flea market on Sundays.

I ordered 3 pork and cheese papusas and 3 pumpkin and cheese papusas. All very delicious. With 2 bottles of water cost was $21.02 plus tip.

It’s a hole in the wall kinda place. There are 5 or 6 tables. You order and she makes it fresh while you wait. We ordered 6 pupusas (cheese, bean & cheese, and bean, cheese and pork) and 5 barbacoa tacos. She packages them up with salsa, lime, cilantro and onions. We brought them home and added refried beans. They were very good and we will definitely stop in again!
