Came for specifically for their breakfast, we had already had their pupusas and we loved those. The service was great, everyone was super kind. We tried several things on the menu and loved it all. We will return to try their quesadillas.

I give them 3 stars because they should line the to-go foam container with wax paper or aluminum foil. The bottom pupusas melted the foam and I had to toss the pupusas. I asked for regular curtido and I got spicy. But everything was very tasty.

We have missed out so many times before, because normally by the time we think of eating here they’re closed. SO HAPPY we finally made it! My husband isn’t even a huge fan of pupusas but I ordered him the asada and cheese while I got bean and cheese. Everything was so great and packaged to go very well. You can taste the difference, truly.

Plus, the Salvadorian tamale was delicious too. Somehow, it tasted like a Philly cheesesteak in the best way possible.

They close at 7 and I’m sending him back for seconds!

Love love love this place. Just like home.

Updating 2 years later: this place has only gotten better with age. Came here this morning with a big group of my family to celebrate birthdays and mother’s Day. This is the place I come to when I want my mom’s Salvadoran cooking, it’s just about the same. Delicious, fresh, authentic. Looking at the few low star reviews on here and I’m convinced those people do not know what they’re talking about. This place is some of the best salvi food you’ll find in rialto.

Came here on a Sunday at 2:30pm, while my kids and I craved pupusas. I walked in with high expectations from prior reviews. Upon walking in the cashier was busy handling food delivery service orders…no big deal. I asked her if we sat ourselves and then they would take our order she said yes. We started looking for a place to sit so they could take our order.. then an older lady asked us to order at register…again…no big deal. As I started ordering the lady started mentioning that the platter that they have advertised are not correct. The platter “Tipico El Rancho” is advertised with rice, she said “no, no lleva arroz, pero si dice, pero no” ok fine. Ordered 4 pupusas, 2 bean & cheese and 2 cheese…again, menu states pupusas are 3.75 and the upgraded are carne asada and pollo..an extra .75…again, no big deal. I was charged 4.50 for a cheese pupusa! I asked the lady and she said I wouldn’t be able to find a cheese pupusa for 3.75….it was literally advertised as so on their menu!
Ok, we ordered the food and waited for a table to be cleaned up, asked one worker…waited 10 minutes asked another worker..finally we’re able to sit down. When the food came they only brought the Plato tipico and 2 cheese pupusas then proceeded to bring 1 bean and cheese one 10 minutes later…another 15 minutes passed and my daughter had to go ask for the 2nd bean and cheese pupusa.

False advertising, slow service and bland food.
Unfortunately, we came here on a whim because our favorite spot (Pupuseria y Creperia El Mesón) is closed on Sundays. If you’re in the area Monday through Saturday I hands down would recommend the latter pupuseria.

Tried this place and my honest opinion is not that good for the cost, we had breakfast for me and my wife, we ordered breakfast and coffee for the two of us the bill was 40.22, the eggs were good, plátanos fritos ok, however, the cuajada, chorizo, beans and bread not really worth it, besides it did take around 15 minutes to get our food. The coffee was acceptable. I may go back to taste the pupusas… We will see….
