No tables just counter tops and bar stools. We get tired of Mexican,Thai, pizza, sushi, etc so we tried this place after we had gone to a pupuseria on Kent Island in MD.

We’re from DC where I ate pupusas for a long time since the 90s but forgot about them since I moved to Pennsylvania. This will be our go to carry out for pupusas and tamales. Cabbage side much better than the one I had in Maryland. These were also bigger pupusas than in MD. This food will taste good this winter. Pure comfort food.

We stayed in a hotel in the vicinity and enjoyed the food from El Pulgarcito. Everything we had was delicious—the pupusas, atol de elote, and horchata. The pupusas with beans (frijoles), ayote (squash), loroco (an edible flowering vine), or just cheese are all great options for vegetarians. Pricing was among the best I’ve seen, definitely less than what we’ve paid for similar dishes in other states. Customer service was excellent! The ladies at the register were very attentive and kind while we waited for our carryout order. We didn’t eat at the location because the dining area was on the smaller side and we needed more room for our family. There are a few parking spots available to the side of building (for free). Although the surrounding neighborhood might not be the fanciest in town, the food is worth it!

Small Salvadorian restaurant. Small bar for eating inside. TV for entertainment. Lots of delicious food! Pork & cheese pupusa’s are to die for. They also have a daily special during the week.

Friendly workers – ad while not necessary, it helps if you can speak Spanish when visiting. Street parking out front. They accept cash.

Tasty food and friendly staff. I truly enjoyed the carne asada, rice, pico de gallo, beans and tortas. Add a little hot sauce on the beans . Parking can be tricky if streets are full, but aside from that, overall is a good experience and look towards visiting again.

Not a spot to take a date let’s say but for take out or eat a quick meal with a pal or yourself this is a jewel. Very great taste and great prices. Staff is amicable and if you only speak English someone in kitchen will come translate. Little hole in the wall will be getting many visits by me!

This place was excellent! Such a hole in the wall, I drove past it once when looking for it (no phone/gps). It seemed very authentic – all of the staff and the two customers that I talked to are all from El Salvador.

I got 2 pupusas (chicharron con queso and frijole con cueso) and a big thing on arroz con pollo and was VERY satisfied! It was all very flavorful at a reasonable price.

If you go here, hopefully you can speak a little Spanish, or point and use Google Translate.

I will definitely be back! Yo amo comida de Latin America!
