1st time getting pupusas from here and I can say they are now my favorite. I had the combo of 3 chicharron con queso pupusas for $10. The flavor of the chicharron was perfect and the ratio of maza was not overwhelming. I will be back.

I loooove pepusas, this review is only for these. I was excited to find an El Salvadoran pepusaria, served with a spicy jalapeño/carrot slaw and spicy sauce. Tried the calabaza, chicharonnes, and chorizo. All tasted delicious and at a good price. It’s a little unassuming at a gas station, but definitely worth a visit if you enjoy pepusas.

Stopped here apparently as they were closing so I was not allowed to buy anything to eat. There were people eating when I arrived but they were not serving anyone else for the night .. it’s inside a gas station so it doesn’t have the same ambiance as pupuserias I’ve been to in El Salvador.

I’ve never really had an issue here before, but the experience today was frustrating. The woman at the register was rude from the start. I called in to place a to-go order, and she asked me to hold — which I was fine with. But then I just kept hearing her ring up order after order. I lost count around 5 or 6 before I gave up. If you’re going to take phone orders, please don’t leave customers waiting endlessly.

Located in a gasoline store and the pupusas here are awesome. They are so so good! They are the best in this city. Service can be fast sometimes and slow others as they cook them to order and sometimes have them ready.

Welp. We were passing through checking out the area and happened to see this place as we were stopped at the red light. The other Google reviews were stellar but by the looks of the pictures of the pupusas, I could tell something was off.
They are obviously popular here and the locals seem to really like it. However, these pupusas are definitely NOT legit. Pupusas are not cooked by frying them in oil. They are cooked without oil on a hot blacktop or skillet or pan. These pupusas are greasy, crispy and golden brown. This completely changes the flavor profile. The curtido or pickled cabbage slaw that is typically eaten with pupusas was absolutely bland and flavorless.
We were really hoping that this place would be good.
My mistake for having my partner go in for take out while I stayed out in the car with the dog. As soon as she told me that they only sold the pupusas in sets of 3s and not individually, I knew that they would not be good.
Yes, I am Salvadoran.

Absolutely delicious. The pupusas were piping hot and perfectly cheesy. I wanted to eat all three but they were so filling I got to save half for later. Definitely deserving of many return trips. Also, the “coleslaw” was different and had a really delicious seasoning on it. I don’t know what it was really called. There’s a gas station attached so you can eat snacks and have a wide array for drinks.

Oh my dear God! These have been the best pupusas I’ve had, hands down. I was in the area when we went. But I can’t stop thinking about them. I wouldn’t mind driving 40mins for them. So cheesy, big and so much stuffed.
