Pupusas are loaded with , cooked to perfection with a nice crispy cheese. Flavor is great, the bean one was the best, really good been mixture. Kids 7, 5 really enjoyed theirs. Carne asada is also delicious.
Tried one their baleadas, also superb.

Overall we were quite pleasantly surprised. Food was quite good, and the service was fine. I’m not that familiar with Salvadoran cuisine, but had stumbled upon a great place in DC 2 years ago. We went back and that provided today’s visit.
Next time I’ll ask more questions, especially what sauces go with what, though it’s all to personal taste and preference. We’ll be back.

Had pupusas here and they were SO good. So much cheese and fresh from the grill. Couldn’t be any better food-wise and great service too. 10/10!!!!

The pupusas brought me straight back to El Salvador — easily the most authentic I’ve had since visiting. Every bite was incredible. My fiancé who’s new to Salvadoran food, couldn’t get enough. Major regret not ordering more! We’ll definitely be ordering more next time — and more than we think we need!

Was in the area and randomly popped in with my family planning on getting a quick bite. We planned on getting just pupusas and coffee because we weren’t too hungry but the food smelled so good we had to order some entrees. And they didn’t disappoint, we cleaned all the plates!
We got the pupusa de frijol and pupusa de queso to start and both were amazing! Next we tried the sopa de marisco which really hit the spot on a chilly February evening. Finally we moved on to the main courses, Camerones a la Crema, and the Pescado Frito. Both were absolutely delicious, we weren’t expecting an entire fried fish for the pescado frito but that really stole the show. For drinks we had to go with the classic Horchata as well as the ensalada de frutas both helped tie together the perfect meal.
All around a great experience, service was super attentive and accommodating, providing us with multiple extra plates and bowls as we needed and even taking the fried tilapia back to the kitchen to have it cut up for us. Can’t wait till I’m back in the area so I can eat here again!

First time I when to this place I order two Pupusas one with only cheese and one with cheese & “lorosco” they only put two little pieces of lorosco lol I didn’t mind because I just want it to try it. The pupusas were good I can’t complain the only thing I didn’t like was the salsa. I don’t know who made that but it wasn’t a real Salvadorian. I also order Mondongo aww it was not what I was expecting well it was my first time trying Mondongo not made by my Dominican mom so yeah I was expecting too much. Not my favorite. I also order one side of rice but they forgot to put it in the bag I was looking forward to my rice. I call and they refund me the money. That’s why I gave the restaurant 4 start because they forgot my rice

Only had the cheese & bean Pupusas, tasty but could’ve had a bit more beans and cheese in them. The person that took the order a bit dour, the place did not ooze friendliness. But will go there again and try other menu items, but to go!!

So I’ll be honest, not the best looking place to eat but I never judge a book by its cover because I have been surprised numerous times in the past. I have ordered take out from this place before a few times but I wanted to actually take my time to go through the menu and see what they really have to offer. I came here last night and had some of the most delicious Salvadorean food. The “Revuelta Pupusas” Pork and Cheese are definitely ones to try here, they were meaty and not a lot of corn meal which was great. The curtido wasn’t as sour pickled as I normally like it and the red sauce was a bit bland but the pupusa itself was tasty enough to where it didn’t really need it. The “Tamale de Pollo” was actually very good I enjoyed it very much and the texture was just right filled with stew chicken and potatoes. Now, for the highlight… Their Seafood Ceviche Mixto was just awesome, the flavors were spot on sour and tangy like it should be and the tortillas chips were a perfect combination with it. I also tried their Plantain Empanadas for dessert which are lightly sweet fried plantains stuffed with a vanilla and cinnamon cream filling .

The ceviche is great, but there was a bit too much lime for my taste, which was a bummer because the ingredients were fresh and finely prepped (way too much lime). The plantains were supposed to be fried which I just assumed meant crispy. I’m not a fan of the soggy. The food was great quality, but please ease up on the lime.
