This is literally the best place for pupusas they’re hot yummy and It has so much meat!!! You should really try this place if you want some good authentic food! The workers are really nice too

Thanks Goodness the other reviewer told us you enter through the liquor store so we were prepared for that. It felt like taking my family on an adventure to a kind of speakeasy for Central American food!
The place was full of people used to eating Salvadoran and Honduran food. Felt very authentic.
Lacking great atmosphere, but made up for it with amazing, hot, crispy, cheesy papusas.
We also ordered chicken from the hot table with beans and rice, extra beans, chorizo eggs and tortillas. Mild, delicious flavors there but the chicken was falling off the bone.
Horchata was very good and large and $4. Lots of food and good to share.

Very basic Salvadorian food spot. Minimum English spoken, be ready to practice your Spanish. Food fresh made on the spot. Great, hot pupusas.

Do not bother to come here. Service is terrible. Placed an order over the phone and the lady did not make the food order just because my order wasn’t big enough. Very disappointing service. El Comalito will be the only place from now on.

Pupusas are great…but don’t order meat options, just get the cheese. The meat are either so tiny you can’t see or feel it or they don’t put meat at all. Servers can only communicate in Spanish.

At first, I got confused about where the restaurant was located, but it’s inside the liquor store.
My pupusa was piping hot
I had beans and cheese and it was delicious. The cheese melted, just everything about it was delicious.
I would definitely stop by there when I’m in the area again.

I really love their pupusas. The only thing I have an issue with is that the lady who answers the phone doesn’t really understand English so it’s kind of hard for us to order but even with that being said they still seem to get my order right everytime. I would go back again.
