I’ve been to this restaurant several times. back to back in 1 week after my first time time *hides face* lol! but the food is sooooo delicious. Very consistent in quality with ingredients and how dishes are cooked!
This spot is small & compact inside, best to order and take out. Or eat inside for a solo outing. The pictures I added are from 3 different occasions I came for breakfast or lunch.

So excited this restaurant opened in Lexington!! Since my family visited El Salvador 2 years ago I have been searching for a place that sells Pupusas! This place is a gem! Extremely friendly, helpful, and bilingual! The food is amazing and we will definitely be back soon!

If you are looking for authentic El Salvadorian food this is the place to come to. The staff here is upbeat and very friendly. Everything that I had was fresh and homemade. From the empanadas to the papusa Ranchero and it is allot of food to eat. I will definitely be back here to try out the rest of the menu.

My wife and I are from Long Island, NY, where authentic Hispanic food is easy to find. Moving to NC, we’ve struggled to find authentic Salvadoran food that feels like home, but, Pupusa 503 is just that! We’ve been to all the locations now and every single one of them has amazing food, friendly service and the place stays clean. We’re happy we have a spot to go to when we’re fixing for authentic pupusas!!

As a Lexington native it was so exciting to see this pop up in my Google search when looking for places to eat while visiting family. It’s really great to see the diversity come to life in the city. I won’t lie, I was skeptical at first. Salvadorian food…in Lexington? But it did not disappoint!
My husband is Salvadorian and I have some high standards. The papusas were fantastic and a great price point, I really enjoyed the horchata as well (tho the nutty flavor of Salvadorian horchata compared to the Mexican kind isn’t for everyone) we also split some pastilitos which were rich in flavor and the perfect texture! To round out the meal we took some Tres Leches to go and that really didn’t disappoint! The flavor was better than most I have had and I’m truly impressed.
To top it off, everyone who worked there was so kind and helpful. The atmosphere was very chill and definitely had an upscaled small local hole in the wall vibe on the inside in the best way! If you’re looking for good Latin food other than TexMex, or are looking to try something new, or already love Salvadorian food like me and are just pumped to see this place exists, make time to check them out! And when you are inevitably impressed, be sure to let them know and leave a great review! Let’s make sure this place sticks around!

I always support local, and this place is no exception. Homemade foods from El Salvador culture! If you want to try something new this the place. If you just like trying new restaurants this is the place. Tuesdays they have specials on the menu. We will be back on Tuesday. I want try a breakfast plate….which is served All Day!!!
