Love this place! Have been ordering from here for years!! The pernil, beef empanadas, and green sauce are my absolute favorites! One of the best green sauces, pernil, and beef empanadas! The limeade is so good too! Fresh limeade! They have a nice selection of Spanish food offering different types of rice and beans too. My favorite is the white rice with red beans. The desserts are really good. Good service too.

Had a authentic pasteles from this restaurant for Thanksgiving and they were great. We returned and ordered a dozen “chicken” pasteles. They did not have pork and assured us that they had a new chef and that the chicken were delicious. They were bland and awful. We paid $65 for the dozen and will be throwing most of them away.

***Update*** the restaurant has graciously offered to give a full refund, which I appreciate.

The food is actually pretty ok in my opinion however, ordering rotisserie chicken from them via uber eats is a nightmare. This is the second time I order the lunch special of half rotisserie chicken and the chicken isn’t ready. If it’s not ready then they should have an option where you can cancel the order because if not then if you cancel you are charged. The first time it happened I waited until the chicken was done, which took HOURS to arrive. How they think this is proper service, idk. The second time it happened, I decided to cancel and was charged.

I didn’t eat in I took a family combo to go. The food was 3 stars I got white rice red bean stew and roasted chicken. The food was not worth the price of about $36 more like $25-$30 worth. This place is very small with only 2 tables I believe should be a take out only establishment. There is parking on location since this is located on plaza a bit busy maybe because it was Saturday. Overall ok didn’t really interact with the staff besides paying for my order.

Food is delicious… but if you don’t speak Spanish you’ll be waiting forever, on several occasions (2 or more times) I waited to order then someone walks in speaking Spanish and get their order before mine.. Delicious food or not. I will not be coming back.

They got really delicious Empanadas, will totally go back for those. Other food dishes are little pricey but the quantity is a lot. Liked their pan seared fish and shrimp dish. The lady at counter was really nice and helped me to pick out items to order. The food takes a while to get ready unless you are buying already cooked ones.

Ordered takeout from Uber eats,
We got lost tres golpes ( three hits ) eggs, fried cheese, salami & the mangu of course, I got mofongo de Chicharron & I added queso frito ( fried cheese ). We got two empanadas of beer and two of cheese.. the cheese as you can see from the pictures was not a lot and whatever cheese is used melts completely onto the inside walls of the empanada. The sizes are very small to be paying 3$ for each little empanada to be honest.. I don’t even pay 3$ in New York City so I was a bit confused when I saw how minuscule they were.:.:. Then to top it off not even all that taste wise. Mofongo was dry, they added two little sauces but to be honest that only help for half of it after that I couldn’t eat it of how dry it was & there was no more sauces for the mofongo or mangu… juices were great I ordered a chinola juice ( passion fruits natural juice ) & a Morrir Soñando ( die dreaming // orange cream drink ) .. but got two chinola juices instead…. so I was a tad sad about that but luckily I love both juices the same lol.
