We heard about this place from our neighbor. Stopped by on our way home.
Food was fantastic. Made fresh while we waited.
It’s a little odd since it’s in a truckstop, but don’t let that bother you. Everything was clean. Food was quick.
I gave service a 4 star only because they didn’t come around to ask if needed anything or how was everything. But if you asked for something, they were very nice.
Will go back again for sure.

So glad I finally had the chance to try this place! Stopped in for a quick dinner while driving back to WI from MSP airport. It’s out of my way a little but the time was finally right.

Ordered pretty basic for the first visit. Paneer Tika Masala and tandoori naan. Took less than 10 minutes and showed up piping hot and right out of the kitchen.

Paneer appeared to have been made in-house and had a bit more complex flavors than what I’m used to getting in places that aren’t in truck stops. Sauce was a mouth-filling bunch of flavor. It was a bit more spicy than I’m used to but I loved the heat.

They have a reputation for being a spicy food place. I love spicy food so that’s not a problem. Lots of folks recommend asking for less spicy but I dig the heat so I didn’t make a comment. What I got was delicious and I will crave it moving forward but if you don’t like the heat you should speak up.

I also had a tandoori naan that was absolutely perfect. Portions are such that I have a little over half of my order in the fridge and am very much looking forward to tucking into them in the next couple of days.

Last thought…I was the only white face in there the whole time I was there. That’s not a problem, it’s a ringing endorsement! I had no idea there was a big Indian truck driver segment but apparently there’s enough on the road to keep this place pretty busy.

Absolutely a hidden gem!

This may look like a generic marathon gas station but inside if u dont eat some punjabi food u missing out. Imo best indian food miles out of the cities. I love the garlic pepper bread and the chicken curry. The rice chicken is also bomb. If you on a 94 trip do stop by here. Best food.

I had the Chilli Chicken, medium heat, and the mango lassi. They were both fantastic. Unbelievable experience, for a truck stop restaurant. Will likely be stopping again!

Finally made it to Baldwin to try Punjabi Rasoi. We are so happy we did! We had a fantastic lunch: butter chicken, rice, garlic naan, vegetable samosas, mango lassi. And a nice gentleman also gave us a try of Gulaab Jamboon, an Indian dessert, similar to donuts but so much better! We are looking forward to going back and trying something new. Do not hesitate, visit this great place and try their delicious food!

This hidden gem is tucked away in a truck stop of all places, but it’s clean, bright, neat, and the food is top notch. A good selection of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. I had the goat biryani; savory, spicy, and satisfying. Generous portions, reasonable prices. The chai tea was perfect. I’d give this place six stars if I could.

This is a delicious gem hidden in plain sight in a truck stop in Baldwin, WI. Who would have thought?

The first time my husband and I visited back in March, we had the daal makhani, which is delicious, and worth the trip right there. We also had goat curry, which is decidedly homestyle (bone-in meat). The meat was a little skimpy, but the gravy was tasty. The basmati rice was nicely seasoned, and you get one container of rice per entrée. The garlic naan is fresh and tasty. We also had chicken pakora, aka Indian chicken nuggets. Again, delicious, and a large serving, and you get two different chutneys for dipping.

We visited again recently and the food was just as delicious as the first time. They have lots of excellent vegetarian options.

If you want ambience, this isn’t the place, but if you want good food and plenty of it, make the drive to Baldwin!

Its a restaurant inside of a gas station. Honestly walked in with no big expectations … kind of felt like the food court in the mall. BUT … its probably the best Indian Food I’ve had since my favorite place shut down years ago. Great flavor! I can’t wait to go back to try other dishes off of the really good size menu!

Stopped for gas, stayed for the food and super glad we did! Had some vegetable samosas that came with a mint sauce and sweet sauce and ate them in the car because they smelled amazing and we couldn’t wait to get home. Also got some daal, saag paneer, and chai. Everything was delicious. Staff was very nice, we’ll be back!

we’ve eaten here many times and it never disappoints! Always consistently delicious no matter what we’ve ordered. It’s inside the gas/truck stop which one would not expect but we get food to go. Highly recommend
