This place has a great owner and staff, very friendly, taking care of each customer, accommodating to dietary needs.
Very creamy Punjabi dishes that tasted great. I do wish they were less creamy. Naan and roti were great.
It was packed and they still took care of each customer well. The positive vibes and good feeling made us feel great about eating here but I wouldn’t come back for paneer or daal makhani- a personal preference as I don’t like creamy food.
Lots of People were eating their gol gappe and seems like they were a hit.
Wishing them the best.

Food rated 4 – regular nothing extra special, they were out of most things because it was the day after Christmas
Service rated 5 – very kind people and the uncle that was there was so sweet to give me more aachar when I asked while I was eating choke bathure.
Atmosphere rated 3 – looks like an office building from the outside and just a regular cafeteria feeling inside.
Was busy the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out. We did go around lunch hour, so maybe that’s why. Everyone was really kind and sweet, but just a little disappointed when I ordered the gulab jamun, it took a while and then my husband asked about it and said if it wasn’t ready to just let it go. They said okay. So not sure if it was even put in.
Husband ordered butter chicken, they didn’t have any naan so they had tandoor roti. I had chole bhature,it was normal just not enough aachar and I don’t personally like raw onions. I like vinaigrette onions. I would come back and recommend them because they were kind and it was easy to order.
They only have one bathroom for male and females so the line gets long. Be prepared.

We recently hosted our Diwali party at Punjabi Dhaba in Bakersfield, and it was an unforgettable evening! The food was outstanding — full of authentic Punjabi flavor and freshly prepared with so much love.

Absolutely amazing Indian food! Every single dish was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The green roti was especially outstanding — truly something special. On top of the incredible food, the host was incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

We recently visited Punjabi Dhaba and, unfortunately, they were sold out of food. However, the experience was still fantastic! The owner was incredibly welcoming and handled the situation with such warmth and professionalism. To our delight, he offered us free mango lassis, which were absolutely amazing — rich, flavorful, and perfectly refreshing.

Perfect place for authentic and tasty Punjabi homemade/dhaba-style food. Every time we are in this area we make sure to pick up food from here without fail. Their parathas and chicken curry are the best! You cannot really go wrong with any dishes on their menu. They are a little spicy though which is exactly what we love!

Delicious food. One of the best Kadhi Pakoras I’ve had. The tawa roti and chole bhathure were incredible as well. We needed to eat on the road so the place made sure to equip us with utensils, plates etc. Would definitely visit again
