Ok, From the minute you walk in you feel welcome! We were immediately assigned Mona as an our service advisor. She was so sweet and made the experience fun. We started out bowling which was super challenging and fun. We ordered several things including a burger and appetizers which were all yummy. Just go. You won’t be disappointed. Happy day! Thanks Mona. You spoiled us!

Found this place while looking for something to eat and drink, and we ended up having so much fun bowling. It is a great place to hang out. The service was a bit slow, but everyone was very nice.

great food and drinks, and the energy in the place was just fun all around. everything came out quick and fresh. But what really stood out was the manager, Samantha. She personally stopped by our table to check in and make sure we were having a good time and had everything we needed. You can tell she genuinely cares about the guests and the overall experience. Love when managers are that hands-on and attentive. Big shoutout to her and the whole team definitely coming back!

Mona was the best!

This place makes one of the most flavorful burgers I can remember. The patties are nice and thin, giving them that crisp rim while retaining a juicy inside. The rosemary fries are delicious as well, and a huge step up from everyday fries.

The old fashioned is delicious, and a total steal at happy hour. If you dig rye, you’ve gotta try it.

Shoutout to Mona! I had a minor issue with my burger, and Mona immediately took care of it. Truly top notch service in a really cool atmosphere. We’ll absolutely be back!

I had a girlfriend take me to Punchbowl social and didnt know what to expect and ended up having a blast. The atmosphere was idyllic, lots of games to play, the music was great, drinks were perfectly made by our wonderful and friendly server Doug. He was very welcoming and amplified our having a great time. Highly recommend Doug as your server!

Worst bowling place in the world and it’s not even close. I have never been to an atrocious bowling enterprise like this ever in my life. The staff were rude, giving attitudes, the bowling lane clogs and stop every 5 minutes. They balls won’t even come out and they don’t care. They get made at you for asking what’s going on… the whole experience was just bad and if I can give it a 0 stars I will 1 million times.

Punch Bowl Social on Congress Ave delivered a fantastic experience for our team outing. From the moment we arrived, Antonio greeted us with a warm and cheerful welcome, guiding us to our bowling lanes where the setup was already prepared with an array of food. Once settled, Peter took over as our host for the evening, ensuring everyone had their drink orders sorted, troubleshooting any bowling lane issues, and staying attentive to our needs throughout the evening. A big shoutout to Antonio and Peter for their outstanding hospitality—they made us feel completely at home.

The food setup was generous, catering to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Highlights included the Falafel Sliders, which were a hit, and a variety of veggies served with hummus and other dips. The Sweet Potato Fries, Brussel Sprouts, and Guacamole were all solid choices for casual bites. While the Pretzels were hit or miss, they added to the variety. I didn’t personally try the chicken or meat sliders, but teammates mentioned they were decent. Overall, the food was surprisingly good considering it was served in a bowling alley setting.

This was my first time experiencing Duckpin Bowling, and it was such a fun twist! Unlike traditional 10-pin bowling, duckpin involves a smaller, finger-hole-free ball and allows for three rolls per frame, similar to candlepin bowling. The unique format added an exciting element to the game, and our team thoroughly enjoyed it. This is definitely something I’d love to try again when the opportunity arises.

Beyond bowling, the venue offered plenty of activities. There’s a karaoke section, a small-sized arcade area, and even a cornhole/beanbag toss section. The variety of entertainment options makes it a versatile venue perfect for team outings, parties, or just a fun night out with friends.

The place was lively and bustling, with a vibrant energy that added to the experience. It’s clearly a popular spot, so reservations or early arrivals might be wise.

Punch Bowl Social is a great choice for a fun and engaging outing. The combination of good food, excellent service, and unique entertainment options makes it a must-try. Thanks again to Antonio and Peter for elevating our experience. We’d definitely love to return for another round of duckpin bowling and good times!

Highly recommended!

spending time in Austin this past week, we were looking for something fun to do. Read the reviews for Duckpin Bowling at Punch Bowl and decided to check it out. The atmosphere was festive. There were plenty of games to play and our server Doug could not have been more professional or friendly. We did get the Punch Bowl drink and it was so good. Great way to spend an afternoon And def ask for Doug

Visited this spot with family to play some bowling and celebrate while they’re in town. At first service from our was decent, then we hardly were checked on. One person from our party went to ask at the bar for napkins and silverware for our food and didn’t get the greatest service. Our server came to close our tab halfway through our hour at the lane.

We ordered 3 mocktails, and 2 of the drinks we received were very strong alcohol drinks. I am pregnant, and 2 others in our party are in recovery. We were very disappointed that we received these drinks after a long wait, and to get the correct drinks was another long wait.

The appetizer we shared was good, bowling was fun although the pins got stuck and had to reset our scores midway through, and service was okay at best.

I would have much rather went to the domain location rather than downtown with how bad the service was and this is in relation to the server we had. It was that bad that I don’t think he even mentioned his name but was the server near the bowling area. I was really trying to enjoy a birthday lunch with friends and honestly he made it not as enjoyable as we’d like. Our server kept on ignoring us and looked as if he didn’t want to be there. We had to ask others for things that usually the server should do. We constantly were looking for him ever 10 minutes because he’d never come to check on us. At one point he had to be told there were more things to order. We had to walk up to him to ask for our orders to be taken, not even him coming over to take them himself. When he came over he only took two then walked away as if there weren’t five other ready to order after. And yes we tolde him we were ALL ready to order. At this point, I regret even making a reservation here and wish I went to the domain location instead. Food was really good but the service was just sooo bad I question if this guy even wants to be a server or even wanted to be there in the first place. And the fact it was my birthday celebration just made even worse.
