This is a great place for lunch meetings. I meet two of my good friends every two weeks here to enjoy the good food and to visit with Barb, excellent service!! I really like their homemade horseradish sauce, and fried pickle skewers as an appetizer! They have really good food and sizable portions.

Food was fantastic!! The portions were generous. I had pastrami on Marble rye, my companion had a turkey wrap. We each took half of a sandwich home. The staff were so friendly and organized even though they were super busy!! The decor with the playbills and posters was so much fun to look at and explore. Everything was clean. We had a marvelous time. We can’t wait to go back.

Sitting at the bar of this fine establishment right now. The owner came personally and served me. Showed me his beer selection. Definitely a great place to go if you enjoy IPA style beer! I highly recommend coming to this place. Quietly tucked in the back of the shopping centre you can enjoy a nice ambience and good drink while your out shopping.

Dim light pub atmosphere. We had to ask about kid options as it seems to cater more to an adult crowd and those options are not part of the menu. Servings were fantastically sharable in size and tasted amazing.

Very disappointed. What they gave me was good but was missing the Swiss cheese and Russian dressing. I can get a better sandwich at Byrnes Dairy for 8 dollars. The sandwich cost me 17 US. Th3n the wanted to charge me 5 for fries. I get a nice meal at Nina’s in Chittanango for less. What a disappointment.

Had the 42nd stree Ruben, shaved meat, bread toasted, toppings perfect, pickle. Hot coffee. Mom had the Ham and Swiss, delish, sweet potato fries. Highly recommended. Nice service. Sandwiches were large enough to take half home. Pricy, but considering where we live, can’t get it anyplace else, so worth it.

Pumpernickel’s is a busy place on a Friday night. It’s easy to see why. I am a repeat customer and have never had a mediocre meal or poor service. The staff is always courteous and, time permitting, one of the proprietors will greet you.
And the food? Tonight my partner and I selected from the day’s specials, right off the chalk board. Egg Plant Parm for me, a nice Beet Salad for my partner. Looks pretty good, doesn’t it!

This is another place im hesitant to tell about, cuz its so good im worried ill never get a seat again, lol.
My Grandma, Aunt, and Mom all liked this place, and so ive come over the years with my own wife and kids.
The service is always brisk, efficient, and cheerful. The food is great.
I always get a Reuben, cuz they make the best in the area. They had Saranac (local brand!) Pumpkin Ale, on tap! I cant even find it in the stores.
As usual, we brought some home. Prices are reasonable. A good old fashioned family run restaurant. 🙂
