Social Profile:

Pummarola is an authentic Neapolitan pizzeria. We serve pizza, pasta, sandwiches, salads, sides, and dessert, based on the original recipes of our dear Nonna Rosa. Our pizza is baked to perfection in our wood-fired ovens, built and imported from Naples, Italy, to achieve the authentic, fire-kissed flavor of home. Our fresh ingredients are also imported from Italy, from the savory plum tomatoes in our marinara sauce, to the Polselli flour in our dough. At Pummarola, we strive to create delicious meals and memorable experiences. Order online or stop by for dine-in, delivery, takeout, or curbside pickup. My son wanted to eat at Pummarola to celebrate graduating 9th grade. It was wonderful. I get takeout from here for our family weekly and it never disappoints. The quality of the ingredients are very good. The dishes taste authentically Italian. My favorites are the eggplant parmigiana and the fettuccine with truffle sauce. My son loves the pepperoni pizza. We add on the fried chicken as a side. It’s a good price point for the quality of food. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting at the Miami Beach location on Alton Road. I highly recommend giving it a try.

We had the BEST time with Millie at Pummarola for a pizza-making class! From start to finish, it was super informative, hands-on, and so much fun. Millie made the experience engaging and easy to follow, and the end result was absolutely delicious. Whether you’re a local or visiting Miami Beach, this is an experience you don’t want to miss.

We ordered 5 different dishes and all were beyond garbage. The pastas were not even warmed up properly. Just cold and taste less. I worked as a pizza maker for about 6 years and I can tell you this place had the worst pizza I have had in my life. They serve a large pizza on a tray that it didn’t even fit on. The tomato was 4 times thicker than the pizza. It’s like they sliced a tomato into 3 slices and slapped it on the pizza. The pizza was sooo soggy that it was inedible. This is due to the tray it’s being served on. I have had pizza all over the world and they had got to be the worst. Save your money. You’re better off making ur own pizza at home. It will taste better even if it’s ur first time making pizza.

Excellent pizza! The dough is light and airy with a perfect high crust, and the ingredients are super fresh. The atmosphere is smart and welcoming, great for a quick meal or a night out with friends. Very fast and friendly service. Plus, they also offer vegan mozzarella — a great option for everyone. Definitely a must-try in Miami Beach!

5/5 for the class, 3.5 for the food. While waiting on the class to start, my friend & I had the lasagna and the carbonara which were just okay to me… not bad but not that spectacular either.
The class was amazing, $35 for an authentic Neapolitan class with take-home pizza AND pizza dough? Sign me up again. It had a 6-people limit so everyone got attention, it was very interactive and fun. I remember nothing though, was just there for the vibes.
