I tried their Strawberry Shortcake and Hokkaido Cheesecake. I was really craving cakes, and this little spot by the corner of Mitsuwa market hit the spot. My Japanese wife said the Strawberry Shortcake cream tasted just like the ones she used to have in Japan — which says a lot! The sponge was a little dry, but that might be because we bought it later in the day around 6pm.
Overall, the place feels very authentic. I haven’t tried their breads yet, but I’m looking forward to coming back for the melon pan next time!

Get the melon pan, it’s hard to describe but it’s chewy inside, the outside is crisp but sugar cookie like. Everything else is very good too. The takoyaki bread has bits of octopus inside, the top has sauce, picked vegetables and shaved bonita fish, which is smoky, savory and delicious. Even though it is a Japanese bakery the croissants and other European pastries are on par, very delicious. I highly recommend Pullman bakery

Small bakery inside Mitsuwa. Not many items compared to Korean bakery (TJL/PB) but it’s good if you want toast or loaf.
I got a garlic butter bread. Light garlic taste and salty butter was great for breakfast. I would like to try other items for sure.
2 people at the counter packing the bread. Very friendly and efficient. Overall a great bakery to stop by in you are in the neighborhood.

Conveniently located inside Mitsuwa we frequent this bakery for their sliced Bologna, milk bread and the matcha cornets!
The sliced Bologa is actually soft in the center despite its burnt look. Its a little dense and buttery. The milk breads are soft and buttery – Perfect pair with a cup of coffee when warmed at home.
The matcha cornets are just sooo good! Its is light and flaky with the perfect amount of sweetness to the matcha cream filling. I always enjoy these.
Just recently I got their butter rolls for home.
Havent tried them yet but im hoping they’re good!

Service can be a bit slow since they’re a bit short staffed. Got the matcha cornet, crispy bun, and curry bun. The curry bun was fresh out the frier and delicious!! The coronet was also suprisingly crispy and the better of the two sweet items. Contrary to the name, the crispy bun is not crispy at all.

The bakery has changed names once again (and probably owners too). It’s located inside the Mitsuwa Marketplace. The offering is relatively the same as before. The staff needs to be more professional and friendly. The older lady flat out ignores people waiting at times and instead makes herself busy doing other things that are not urgent. The other staff members are more welcoming but are very slow to pack goods and ring customers up. The cakes and bread are decent but is nothing to write home about.

The Matcha cream Croissant is good but the melon bun isn’t as good as I thought even though i was rec from the staff. The caramel pudding top layer is bitter to me other than that. I like how creamy it is.

Went in person (the day before) to place an order for Hokkaido cheesecake for my mom’s 70th birthday. Person at the counter took my order and everything. Went to go pick it up next day and apparently “I hadn’t placed the order early enough.” Whatever that means.
No call or text or anything

The Melon Pan with the chocolate chips, the Peach Danish, and Curry Bread were just alright, I wouldn’t buy it again though. I would recommend going for the sliced breads. I usually get the Danish Pullman and make French Toast with that, it’s pretty tasty.
