Seriously cannot beat cost, portion, freshness, and service.

Even take out is appropriately hot or cold after a 20 minute drive home.

Beef on Weck, a jus is drinkable yumminess. Horseradish sauce and giardinera are perfect. Bun is fresh and seasoned. Meat is juicy.

Kids Mac and cheese feed my bottomless pit of kids multiple times. Includes, fries, garlic bread, and kid drink.

Fries are fresh and crunchy.

Salad, fresh. Ranch perfect.

Tea is always freshly brewed.

White chocolate macadamia cookie, beyond amazing. Ice cream cleverly packaged in ramikins then in insulated cup. Came home still frozen.

White penne bake, ridiculously great. Saucy, cheesey. Best mushrooms. Juicy chicken chunks, not pieces.

Lunch menu, daily specials are great.

Family, kid, team, group friendly.

Only issue is I can’t order everything, every time!

Before my first visit to Pullano’s, I had one mission: try the pizza. A friend had raved about it, describing it as the best in the area. Yet, stepping inside this humble Glendale establishment revealed a delightful surprise—Pullano’s is so much more than a pizzeria. After browsing the extensive menu, which offers a genuinely wide variety of foods, I found myself completely diverted. This kitchen caters to absolutely anyone, proving it’s an ideal spot even for the pickiest of eaters. (Rest assured, the pizza remains on my agenda for my next trip!)
While the food exceeded expectations, the true highlight of the afternoon was the incredible front-of-house team. Our bartenders, Sherry and Lisa, were simply phenomenal. From the moment we sat down, they made us feel not just welcomed, but genuinely at home. They run the bar with an impressive blend of professionalism and warmth, managing to be exceptionally quick and efficient at their jobs while maintaining a friendly, engaging presence. They embody the kind of old-school hospitality that elevates a simple meal into a memorable experience. My commitment to returning is as much about seeing Sherry and Lisa again as it is about trying the food!
Since I put off the pizza for another day, I opted for a different classic: the turkey and cheese sub and an order of bruschetta. The sub was built on fresh bread with quality ingredients, making for a robust and satisfying lunch. The bruschetta, often a simple appetizer, was executed perfectly—bright, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It’s clear that the quality isn’t just focused on one section of the menu; the entire kitchen staff should be commended for the consistent excellence they deliver across the board. The food was very good and served promptly and hot.
A Local Treasure Worth Discovering
Pullano’s is, without a doubt, a hidden diamond in the rough. It’s the kind of local gem you’d never stumble upon unless someone recommended it, and I’m incredibly happy that a friend did. If you live in or are passing through Glendale, this spot is essential. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick meal, a drink, or finally trying that legendary pizza, you’ll be treated to amazing food and truly great company. I will definitely be going back to Pullano’s!

Pretty old school pizza place. The family and I love it. Feel like we have stepped into a different place other than Phoenix. Perhaps, somewhere in the upper NE part of the US. Love their pizza, thin as well as normal crust. They do not skimp on orders. The bruschetta is so fresh and scrumptious. Wings are mighty tasty. A fun place to hang out. Service is great especially Katrina. Will go back many more times. Updated bar is great.

Really enjoyed the pizza and wings here. I got it to go and took 20 minutes to get back home. Food was still hot. I can only imagine if I dined in. One side is a restaurant other side is a sports bar. Great atmosphere. Definitely would come back.

I couldn’t be more disappointed after hearing such good things on the dood and I wish I had the chance to try out the food.

I arrived and found my friends at a table near the bar. The place was almost busy but not quite with a few open tables.
Our server was speaking with a 2nd server deviding I think the table for the upcoming dinner rush.

They looked at our table and I tried to catch their attention but they glossed over me. No problem, I figured they would stop by shortly. Both walked by the table with out even looking or even an acknowledgement of our table. All the people preset needed new drinks. Nope.
After the 3rd time of walking by with no attention I had to leave for a place downstream street.

I won’t step foot in that door again.
I am told the food is good….takeout?

I used to eat here years ago, but I have not been here for a long time. I was in the mood for pizza and wings so I thought why not stop by Pullano’s. I remembered it was good, but I had forgotten how good. I loved it. The crust was just the way I like it, the hot wings are my favorite wings in town and the bleu cheese is top notch. The service was very good and the friend that accompanied me was not happy that I didnt share any info on this place before now. It was a great night for pizza and wings.

The Italian Wedding Soup is outstanding. I have never tried it before, but I look forward to having it again and again.

Their Lasagna won New Times Best of Phoenix and it lives up to its reputation. Absolutely delicioous. The Garlic Bread was outstanding as well.

We have returned for a brief stay in Phoenix and we had to stop in for Hot Wings, Italian Wedding Soup and Lasagna. Wow, what a delicious meal.

Another amazing meal at Pullano’s. More Lasagna, more wings, more Italian Wedding Soup, and this time I added a Pizza to go.

I have been trying to eat a little lighter so on my last two trips I had a Chef Salad with Bleu Cheese then an Antipasto Salad. I enjoyed both, but the Chef Salad was definately more to my liking.

Food was amazing. The raspberry Chipotle BBQ wings were my favorite food. Not to mention the karaoke after 9pm. What a blast.

Tonight was the first time my family has eaten at Pullanos. We’ve gotten pizza to go many times. I love that they let you do toppings by 1/4ths. But today we decided to try the rest of the menu.

Additionally, I’ve been searching for lasagna that I like. I’ve always wanted to like lasagna but have yet to find one that I truly enjoy. That quest ended today!

We ordered:
White chicken penne bake- absolutely amazing! The mushrooms were beyond delicious. The chicken pieces, weren’t pieces, they were huge! Had ricotta in it and it worked so well.

Garlic bread- I didn’t have any but it was a lot and husband loved it.

Dinner salad- perfect in my opinion. Fresh, cold, crisp lettuce. My husband would have liked cheese but he can add it next time. It was perfect as is.

Ranch- cold. Homemade. Kept on ice.

Creamy Italian- good but loved the ranch more.

Kids spaghetti and meatball- huge portions. My 4yo devoured the meatball and noodles.

Kids Mac and cheese- holy moly, when it arrived I said, this is the kids Mac and cheese? Oh yes, it was. It was creamy, cheesy, had elbow and penne. Took my two kids three times to finish the one kids meal but they ate it all in the same day.

Lunch lasagna- dude… That’s all I can say! It was huge, cheesy, hot, bubbly, I don’t tend to like ricotta but this was amazing. I enjoyed the ricotta. I finally found an amazing lasagna.

Chianti- super full, cute little glass, cost $5.75. Next time I will come ready for more.

Iced tea- Very good, fresh tea.

Observations: The ranch, celery, etc were kept on ice. Which just perfects the taste.

We took 6 boxes home. I called later to ask if next time I could bring my own containers, as to not waste the boxes or the added cost to them. They said absolutely and thanked me for being concerned with waste.

Price- For what we ordered, not cheap but super reasonable. Considering the amount of left overs and portions. No complaints.

Will be back for regular menu items for sure. Will continue to order pizza to go. Still need to try the wings but I hear they are amazing.

Can you believe I’ve been in the valley over 20 years, driven by a hundred times and never stopped until today? Me either! Talking as a family today we decided we’d like to try a new pizza spot for an early dinner. Pullano’s came up and we said heck yes and headed over. The location was easy to get to and though the parking lot was pretty busy it was easy to find a spot nearby. We were a bit confused at first because there were multiple entrances so we walked in the front facing Thunderbird Rd. We quickly realized we were on the bar side, but after an easy walk through an opening we landed on the family side (facing 51st Ave). The door facing 51st walks you right into the hostess who can seat you or you can pick up a to go order. We were greeted right away and walked over to an open table. For 4pm it was really busy. That’s a great sign to us. After looking things up on the way we decided quickly on antipasto salad and the xl pizza with 20 wings special. We also ordered a few fountain drinks and beer from the tap. Our server was great and we never had to ask for a thing. The salad and wings came out first and both looked and tasted great. I did get the Italian dressing, but ended up using ranch instead because all I could taste for the insane amount of olive oil. The salad was delicious. The lettuce was fresh and crispy, full of meat and yummy peppers on the side. The wings were fried and decent size. They were moist and not over done or dry. We ordered them hot, but they could’ve been a bit hotter for us. Well just increase the heat next time. The pizza came out last and oh man did it look amazing! Piping hot and great amount of toppings and cheese. The sausage had great flavor and my kids loved all the pepperoni. The pizza wasn’t too thin, a little more doughy than our usual spot. When with the bit more dough the bottom crust was crisped perfectly and the pizza did not sag too much when picked up. The sauce had great flavor as well. If you’re wondering about portions they are good size. We still left with a few slices and a little salad left over. Great for a second meal if I share (wink wink). The vibe was great and what you’d expect an older mom and pop pizza spot would be. The bar area was large and included music and pool tables as well. All in all a wonderful experience. My only suggestion is to maybe label the entrances to combat confusion and family/kids don’t end up in the a bar area.

Great pizza and wings, went during a Wednesday and they had a large cheese pizza for $5 or $6, then each topping if you wanted was roughly $3. Between 10 wings, pizza (added pepperoni) and 2 sodas, was about $35 before tip. Great value.
