Really quick service, I had to beef lunch fajitas that came out quick. The rice was a bit dry, but other than that I had no complaints that the beef was tender and flavorful. Nice interior good place to stop and grab a lunch.

Pulidos Mexican Restaurant
I traveled back to a past I never experienced. I’ve lived nearby, worked nearby, and driven by much of my life but had never stepped foot inside Pulidos until this evening. It was as if I was dining in a Mexican restaurant from the 70s. It was as old-school Mexican as I can remember. The food wasn’t the bland, watered-down, modern Tex-Mex that so many serve today. From the first crispy taco to the praline at the end, it was old school all the way. I ordered the Papa Dinner that covered all the bases. It had real zesty chili, cheesy enchiladas, toasted crunchy tacos, and even a praline to clear the palate afterwards. The chips and salsa were what I remembered from my childhood. Tonight, they even served complimentary white queso with my meal. And, of course, I had to have my sweet tea. It’s like the place has been kept in a time capsule and is serving 1970s Mexican food. A unique experience that beckons me to relive again. Come see what I mean.

Read all the reviews about the changes here, how it’s not the same Pulido’s. But decided to give it a try. First was the rice, it really did taste like Ben’s rice microwaved,Beans tasted like they were from a lesser brand of refried beans from a can/pouche. Enchiladas were meh,
Spouse had the trio, only thing she liked were the puffy taco and the chicken soup she had. Chips were great and warm with salsa. Our server provided good service as well…

The place is wonderfully redone inside. Very quiet and nice. The service was also great. Had a young man and he was very attentive and friendly. Think this place is more for just crispy tacos and regular enchiladas. Ordered some carne asads and other meat dishes and they were below par. Beans were cold and margaritas undrinkable. But chip and salsa were great and I would go back if I just wanted a quick lunch with enchiladas and stuff.

Excellent lunch specials under $10. Chips warm and salsa nicely spiced. Be sure to mention if you don’t want onions. Coke products are nice to have. Very happy and recommend this place! Will be back.

This place was amazing. The service was quick and the food was great. They were running a free queso promotion & the queso was top notch. Our server was quick and attentive and very welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good mexican food.

Decided to give them another shot since they reopened. Very weird smell as soon as you walk in. (Should have been our sign to leave)

There was a live cricket near my chair. I didn’t mind it until the waitress squished it and just left it there. (Another sign to leave, lol)

Their food isn’t extremely hot but their plates are. This caused the rice and beans to be very dry. Also melted the shredded cheese for the fajitas. We tried their beef fajitas (burnt and dry), chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce (pretty good), crispy beef taco (extremely greasy and bland), puffy taco (more like a tostada), and their chicken tortilla soup (good but needs veggies).

I also thought my son’s cup had marks from “scratches” but when my husband wiped it on the inside it wiped off. So gross!

Waitress also didn’t bring back the right amount of change. My husband had to tell her that she was short $20.

Will not be returning.

We were in quick search for a crispy puffed taco, and Pulido’s delivered! Everything was great-a total trip back to the 70s style Mexican food. Even the corn tortillas we requested hit differently. They were sturdy and flavorful and seemed like they were made in-house. The side plate of softened butter didn’t hurt either!

All-in-all, a great choice for a Saturday night dinner. We left full and happy, and we’ll surely be back again-the sooner, the better!

So glad that this location re-opened! We used to come to this location quite a bit before it closed. This was our first time eating since re-opening. We ordered the Steak & Chicken Fajitas, mama dinner, as well as guacamole and queso. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. My only complaint is with the salsa, it is MUCH hotter than it was with the previous owners. As someone who loves salsa but also has a sensitive stomach, I was quite disappointed upon tasting the salsa. This is hot enough had i eaten more than one bite I probably would have been sick. Please consider maybe adding a less spicy salsa to the menu as well for those of us who don’t want to singe off our taste buds. Other than the salsa I would absolutely recommend this place!

Beautifully remodeled restaurant. They have a good ambiance. Clean. Friendly staff. The restroom was huge, but it’s a single.

The chips and salsa were soooo delicious. The chips were warm and tasted fresh. We tried several items on their lunch menu today it is TexMex, and lunch prices are about $10-$15 a plate.

Their guacamole had a hint of lime. The rice was flavorful. Their beans were tasty. The fajitas were tender.

The enchiladas were mid. Hardly had any cheese, mostly chili con carne.

The flour tortillas were not good. We believe they are probably store bought and not made fresh there.

The waitress Shay was a delight! She was very friendly and attentive. She checked on us regularly and never let us run out of chips or drinks.

***sorry about the pics, we were hungry
