The food matched the atmosphere perfectly. The chicken sando on the flour moon bagel was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had, and the carbonara frittata was rich, flavorful, and unique.
The staff were friendly and the vibe was fun from start to finish. Great food, great drinks, and great entertainment.
Pulcinella is definitely worth a visit.
We dined again, this time for the special Brunch and we were blown away yet again by the ambiance, food, drinks and now the performance by Bella Blue! We enjoyed every single dish (we had a party of 7).
You know the food is great when everyone excitedly passes around sample of their dish. Bella & Andy made us feel right at home with their casual hospitality. Our server (apologies that I forgot her name!) was wonderful & attentive without being overbearing. We cannot wait to return!
I dined at Pulcinella with a friend and had the absolute best meal experience! The staff is so welcoming & made us feel right at home. We enjoyed sharing the small cheese board, bread service with warm & fluffy slices of focaccia dipped in olive oil. I had the seafood cannelloni stuffed with crab & topped with shrimp. Every bite was superb. We also were delighted by the featured special dessert pana cotta. Truly every bite of everything was full of flavor & fresh ingredients. I cannot say enough great things about this dining experience ❤️.
Our server, Keeley, was amazing. She was friendly, on top of everything, and made great suggestions. She really helped make the whole night enjoyable.
We’ll definitely be back!
The service was incredible including helping us decide wine and drink orders to go with the food. My partner was encouraged to walk around the restaurant and check out all the clown stuff as he’s slightly obsessed.
One of the owners was at the door and was so friendly and welcoming and this restaurant definitely lived up to the friendly New Orleans vibe.
Every time I visit New Orleans I like to try a new place and if it’s worthy I will add it to my regular list. Pulcinella! is definitely on that list now.
Pulcinella!, a name borrowed from Naples’ Commedia dell’ Arte fame, is a fabulous boutique restaurant serving Italian cuisine. From the moment we arrived, the staff (including owners Bella and Andy) made us feel at home in a tasteful and intimate venue of about 20 tables. The menu and wine options were robust enough to accommodate every palate. Keeley ably served our table with food that each member of our party of five described as fantastic! For example, the Eggplant Parmesan and Stuffed Shells were in the “best ever” category! On-street parking was a small challenge but, simply stated, if you have a taste for Italian fare in an intimate setting, don’t miss Pulcinella!
