Great little place for live music. The five dollar cover charge all goes to the musician. They no longer serve any food whatsoever, just great wine. However, they are happy if you bring food in. There’s a pizza parlor right across the street and better yet Giuseppe’s deli is kitty corner and they have fantastic pizza, sandwiches and desserts to go.

We wanted to do a little wine tasting while at the coast and found this nice place. The owner was amazing and did a personalized tasting of 5 wines for 20$ per person plus 5$ fee for the jazz band playing.

This place is awesome! We were in town and stumbled on this wine bar. Great food, wine, and music what more can you ask for. The ambiance is laid back and the service is fantastic. If you are anywhere near here make sure you make this a stop.

I really enjoy an evening at Puffer’s of Pismo; it’s my favorite South County music venue and wine bar. It’s a relatively small and therefore intimate setting for live music. It’s perfect for a cozy outing with music loving friends or a romantic date. There’s a small outdoor seating area for those that enjoy the open air and/or prefer to be a little further from the music and/or would like to chat more. The menu is small, however everything I’ve eaten there has been tasty and excellent. Charlie Puffer, the proprietor, is very knowledgeable and friendly. We can always depend on him to pick the perfect glass of wine to pair with our food. The music varies in style and Charlie books both local and traveling musicians. Last but not least there is always some interesting art being exhibited.

One of a few places my bestie and I came to celebrate our birthdays. What a great place! We got there just in time for a table and live music. Food and wine selections were spot on! The owners are super and run a great place. I’ll be back soon!!

10/10 recommend. The staff is unbelievably kind. Donna is a spectacular bartender, Charlie (the owner) has jokes for days, the 2 chefs are so funny and the aromatic smells from the kitchen are irresistible.
I love that we can see the chefs prepare the decadent meals from the bar.

Such a tiny place, but Charlie and Zoe do an awesome job! We have been there several times, most recently on New Year’s Eve. The live music (The Cliffnotes) was great and the meal (braised short ribs, polenta, roasted veggies) was the best I have had in a long time.

Okay talk about a little hidden gem. We first walked in and was taken back by the eclectic surroundings and how tiny this place was. It was kinda hard to find, although all the locals must know because it filled up fast. We came for some wine tasting. Started out with champagne and ended with a smooth red. The antipasto plate was insane and plenty for the four of us. We did end up sharing a filet mignon which was braised in duck fat and the potatoes were fresh as were the veggies. Prices were great and the service was superb. Must check out

This place is GREAT! Comprehensive, hand selected wine menu, delectable food menu, and probably THE BEST people and service. Not to mention, awesome life entertainment at night. I’m an out of towner and will always make it a point to come here.
