We went out with a friend for dinner here on a Saturday night. Arrived around 6:30 and we were seated immediately. Started off ordering some jumbo sized margaritas, lime and mango. When I say jumbo sized I mean EXACTLY that..these things were HUGE! A fellow patron even commented on the size of them! Bonus points for them being extremely delicious AND potent (at least for a light weight such as myself)! For entrees we ordered the 2 pork tamales meal, the cancun platter and the pollo en crema meal. My cancun platter never fails, with the cheesy blend of crab, shrimp and chicken going well in flour tortillas. My wife’s tamales were a lil underwhelming. The masa wasn’t flavorful although the pork inside was quite tasty. Our friend enjoyed her pollo en crema dish, which she ordered without the mushrooms. Our server was excellent and overall the service was fantastic.

Nice people and good service, but I couldn’t eat their shrimp, it was do overdone, the rice was tasteless, and really only the beans had any flavor. It wasn’t a cheap meal, but I’ve never had Mexican food cooked more poorly. The bathroom was weird. There were no less than 5 urinal cakes in the urinal, then a room oversized on the wall above AND another room scent thing literally duct taped to the wall. The scent was 500 times too strong. What are they hiding?

The food there is fine, this isn’t my problem.

It had been maybe 6mo since the last time I went. Sat in the bar area because it was Happy Hour.

1. My “Loco” drink was 14.50. I dont remember it costing that much and wasn’t it happy hour?

2. By bill had an extra $1.17 charge for “open-food”. What the hell is that?

3. They now charge a 3% upcharge cord credit cards. So I guess it isn’t against Visa rules anymore?

4. The suggested tip amounts are based on the post-tax amount.

I dont agree with these modern scummy business tactics. Charge what you need to charge for the food. Don’t charge people more after the fact just to make your menu prices seem lower.

Walked in here wondering if it was any good as it was empty. I decided to order a taco platter to start, was meant to be 6 mixed tacos (steak, chicken and pork) at $25 which was reasonable for a seat down restaurant as other places around here sell a taco for $10!
Ordered this to try it with my friend as a starter and then order more food if it was good. This was so good that we were both stuffed! Felt like 12 tacos and you truly could turn 6 tacos into 12 as they all came with double tortilla and enough meat to split it in two! And the grilled chillies just a great addition and generous amounts!
Don’t let the fact that the waitress is not Mexican trick you into thinking this is not real Mexican food because it is! Delicious, inexpensive and generous portions! Will be back for sure!

Competitively priced calories, but not food. I really wanted to love this as a competitor to Chipotle etc. but cannot recommend eating here unless you are tight on cash.

Entered to see the breakfast alley which is the bar area. The bar area smells odd – quickly left to see the main restaurant. The staff is friendly. Seems to have a chai / dosa side hustle inside, too.

The lunch menu is well priced! The food though was below mediocre. The pickled cabbage was perhaps the most interesting small dish which came with chips. The rice was flavorless and overcooked. I found myself chewing with my mouth agape hoping to finish faster. The refried beans were…fine. The taco was OK but the al pastor was crunchy in the wrong ways, overcooked, and an oddly strong meatiness flavor without much spice for life. The enchilada was unfortunately watery and chicken similarly lacked life. It was edible but disappointing, and I left without boxing any of the completely remaining rice and beans.

The ambiance is overall nice, but the music felt like a hokier Mexican playlist than any I’ve actually heard in Mexico. The wall painting and booths are all lovely.

Standard Mexican restaurant, slightly above average food with average at best service. Felt like we got forgotten about a couple times and had to wait 12-15 minutes for our check.

Complimentary salsa and the cabbage dish they give is a nice addition that sets them apart a bit. Give it a try if you want an affordable dinner!! Give the chille relleno (Mexican style) a try!!

Love this place. The portions are enormous. So much food for an amazing price. Complementary chips are hot out of the fryer and the salsa is fresh along with pickled vegetables. They offer dining sit down inside with social distancing and a couple of tables outside. If you are looking for sit down dining and Mexican food, check this place out.

I can’t believe I’ve lived in west Seattle and have never been here before. We sat in the bar area and the food and service were both excellent! Lalo was our waiter and he went above and beyond – he even gave me extra hot sauce to take home (11/10 rating on their hot sauce btw). Looking forward to going back soon!
