One star. Puerto Madero in Kendall is waaaay overpriced for what you actually get.
Food
• Steak was about 38 dollars for a cut that nearby competitors sell around 29, and the quality did not justify the difference at all.
• Caesar salad comes with a little Ken’s packet of dressing on the side, which is what you expect from a fast‑casual spot or a takeout salad, not from a restaurant that markets itself as a full‑service Argentinian steakhouse.
• The choripán was a disappointment: the sausage was closer to a generic hot dog than to a proper homemade Argentinian chorizo.
• Empanada was greasy and bland, easily one of the weakest items on the table.
• Tiramisu tasted like something you pick up at a supermarket bakery; honestly, you can get a better one at Publix.
Service
• Service was lousy from start to finish; we had to remind the server about a missing side on one of the plates.
• Water glasses sat empty repeatedly, and we had to ask three separate times for refills.
• The waiter’s attitude did not help—short, not welcoming, and it felt like we were inconveniencing him any time we asked for something basic.
Atmosphere and value
• They present themselves as a sit‑down Argentinian restaurant with steakhouse prices, but details like packet Caesar dressing and low‑effort dishes make it feel more like a cafeteria trying to charge fine‑dining prices.
• To top it off, the handheld card terminal pushes 18, 20, and 22 percent suggested tips, which feels almost mandatory considering how aggressively it’s presented, and the service we got did not come close to earning that.
If you are in Kendall looking for good Argentine food and decent service for your money, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere; Puerto Madero was a one‑and‑done experience for me.

I have been here in separate ocasions, and it is always a great place to come on a date, aniversary or any other special occasion. Our server today Benjamin was amazing. Food is always amazing. This is one of my favorite places to come to in Kendall. 5/5

Fresh and delicious empanadas with great flavor. Only thing that would’ve taken it over the top is if they included some kind of spicy sauce or salsa. I’m sure they have but it was my first time and the optional sauce on the side would’ve been great, in my opinion. Also got their plain croissant and it was fresh and delicious with a sweet glaze on top but not too sweet. Other desserts and pastries look amazing as well so will need to try it next time

We had a mixed experience. I ordered the vacío and my kids had the kids’ churrasco—unfortunately both were very hard and chewy, which was disappointing. On the positive side, my wife’s dish was really good, and the cocktails and dessert were excellent. The flavors and drinks show a lot of potential, but the meat quality (especially for the kids) could definitely be improved.

I’ve been coming to Puerto Madero for years and never been disappointed. Food and service is always great; breakfast lunch and dinner. Best four cheese empanadas in town.

Exceptional Dining Experience at Puerto Madero!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Puerto Madero, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional, thanks in large part to William. From the moment we walked in, William made us feel incredibly welcome. His knowledge of the menu and wine pairings was impressive, and his recommendations were spot on.

The food was exquisite, with every dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. William’s attentiveness and genuine passion for ensuring our dining experience was perfect truly elevated the evening.

Puerto Madero is a gem, and with service like William’s, it’s a place I will continue to recommend to friends and family.
Thank you for a memorable night!

Puerto Madero is really just another decent place. The food is good, that is if you want to spend an arm, leg and maybe a liver. I will admit though they excel quite a bit with deserts. The staff are nice however they always seem to be in quite a rush. Good place if you like Argentinian food but it definitely wasn’t or will be first place on spots to eat at least for me.

Puerto Madero is an amazing place to eat Argentinian food. I have gone to other location in Miami but nothing is like this one. The employees and owner are friendly and professional. They make you feel like home. Our server William and others make you feel welcoming. Food and desserts are tasting and delicious. They also have a great wine selection and a some products from Argentina. A little place from my country.
