Even Taco Bell is special.
Puerto de Acapulco special wasn’t that. Enchilada and burrito were indistinguishable and not just because they were covered in red sauce. Both were same meat in a rolled up tortilla.
Chile relleno cheese ran like milk. I scraped back the red sauce. The exterior was like it had been microwaved….soggy.
I asked if I could get charro beans instead of refried. Although the waiter said yes, I got refried.
Didn’t see the waiter after he dropped the plates. We had to get someone else to get our check.
I don’t understand the need for a reservation when you look online. There were only 3 other tables. We were there for lunch rush.
Taco Bell is just as special. No reservations needed. No price gouging.

I asked the waiter for enchiladas verde con pollo y arroz/frijoles. I was specific about my order. Then he comes back and brings me carnitas instead of chicken. I asked him that’s not what I order. He’s replied I didn’t hear you. I was done with it. Then I see that the bill had a tip included already. . I asked him about it why is the tip included isn’t that illegal. Not only did they tipped themselves on bad service And also screwed themselves I will skip this restaurant for sure.

Servers were kind and attentive. We got the chili Colorado. It was absolutely amazing. Don’t know when we’ll be coming back through the area but would definitely stop here again.

⚠️⚠️⚠️We ordered the cheapest chicken quesadilla, 3 CHEESE enchiladas, a toddler cheese enchilada, small cheese dip and 2 sweet teas and the total was over $60.00!!!!! It has never exceeded $35.00 so just a warning prices have doubled and some have tripled!!! WE WONT BE BACK and we eat there 1-2 times a week!⚠️⚠️⚠️

The prices for the tacos have doubled , The chip prices have tripled. When I went tonight after ordering online they hadn’t processed my order. I waited and waited and finally someone gave me food that had been sitting there for 10 minutes. So I took my mushy chimichanga and my soggy hard shell taco back to my hotel room and threw them away. Super disappointing that it has gone this way.
This is a great Mexican restaurant! You can go for dine-in and grab yourself one of those wonderful Mexican beers. If you happen to be traveling with your dog as I was you can get takeout. The food is really good and the prices are amazing. This restaurant was next to the quality inn hotel and I could walk just across the parking lot for my takeout. It is behind another hotel as well. Right off the highway for good food and quick eats.
They have an extensive takeout menu and it’s super easy to use! I’ve included a screenshot but it only shows part of the items. The number next to the item is how many different varieties are available. I didn’t think of posting a picture until my food was gone. It was nicely packaged or take out. Highly recommend this place.

We’re from Houston and are pretty serious about Mexican food. This place was great! The food was excellent! We ordered the steak tampiquena and the birria plate. Both were excellent. So were all the sides! And the service was excellent! And all for about $40!!

Huge portion sizes and great service! I was traveling through and was happy to have something great so near to my hotel. I got veggie nachos, which were absolutely loaded!! A bit too much cheese for my taste, but very well made with lots of great veggies– enough leftover that it’ll be my lunch tomorrow, too!

Great food. Just very scandalous people. Been here many times with my coworkers. First issue I had was adding gratuity to tables of 2 without notice and we applied 20% on top of the 18% she already charged. Yeah I should have paid more attention but that was dirty. The big issue we had was a group of us of like 20 people went there for dinner after work, they billed each of us for our dinners and drinks as expected. Then after most of everyone left, they gave the last guy a bill for the entire table and he paid it not knowing we all already paid our parts.
