We had a very disappointing experience with the service.

Our plates were taken away while there was still food we had not finished. Shortly after that, the check was brought to the table even though we were still enjoying our beers.

The server then returned three separate times asking for payment while we were clearly still sitting, talking, and not done with our visit. At no point did we indicate we were ready to leave.

What made this even more uncomfortable was that the restaurant was nearly empty, with many available tables, so there was absolutely no reason for us to feel rushed out.

This made us feel genuinely unwelcome, as if the priority was to clear the table as fast as possible rather than allow guests to enjoy their time.

Good service should make guests feel comfortable and relaxed. Unfortunately, this experience did the exact opposite.

Just got into town from out of state and our first stop in Palm Desert – Pueblo Viejo of course. This is our go to place every time we are in the valley. They have the best service, food, and happy hour options. Give it a try – you’ll be back again and again like us.

Food was amazing. My husband and I had the fajitas trio. Everything was so tasty. It was a special one Thursday’s for two people. Each person gets rice and beans. Samantha our server was so attentive and on point. We came some years ago. Remembered how good it was and came back.

We stopped for lunch while we were in Palm Desert on Sunday and it was wonderful. The ambiance was positive and when we lived in the area this was one of our regular spots for good Mexican food. Tito was our server and was fantastic. My wife ordered the chicken enchilada entree with green sauce and I had the tropical chicken fajitas. We did not have margaritas as we had a long drive ahead so opted for soft drinks. We sure miss this place and it was wonderful.
Highly recommended

Brought my family of four and it was a busy night, it seems like everybody in town knows this place is a secret. We got a variety of items from the menu, including salads, quesadillas, and burritos.

Went to date night with my wife to a local place that we have gone to a few times before. The food is always been amazing there and that is one of the reasons we enjoy it along with the staff which is fantastic. Our server tonight, which I cannot tell you her name, was amazing and gave us a wonderful experience. From having guacamole remade without onions to giving us a hot sauce they normally don’t carry except for the delivery. She went out of her way to make our experience amazing. I highly recommend if you have not gone to this place to try it at least once, and the chances are you go many more times

Came here by just driving by and what a great choice that was! Service was top notch. We sat outside and waiter was kind enough to move the heater to our table since it was a bit chilly. They had good drink specials and also menu was reasonably priced with specials as well. Food was nice and hot when it arrived to our table and I can tell the food was fresh. It was super flavorful. Chips and salsa is extra IF you get a refill. If you have room for dessert, try it! Delicious. Bathrooms were super clean too. Also, party of 5+ gratituity is added to bill (it is on the menu)
Will be back when we go back to the valley.

Visited on 12-30-25 before seeing Duran Duran at nearby Acrisure Arena. The place was very busy with the locals, snowbirds, and people there for the show. All the staff were multi-tasking and doing their best with impeccable customer service. Had the trio of fajitas (beef, chicken, shrimp) for two which is only $28.95 (special on Tues & Thurs). It’s a great deal and some of the best fajitas you can have anywhere. If you’re attending something at nearby Acrisure Arena you couldn’t do better than eating and drinking here. Capacity is 85 so make sure you leave enough time to wait 20 mins for a table.

Came here for dinner one evening and it buried under construction, but still operating. Inside looks great and the food was even better. My Steak Quesdilla was perfect and her Fajita Salad was very good. Our server, Arianna, kept the drinks coming. We would visit here again in the future!

Great food, and friendly staff! It was our first visit, and we came in on one of their “fajita nights” (Tues/Thurs). Lots of people were ordering, and the restaurant was smelling amazing as all of the sizzling plates were hitting the tables. We decided pretty quickly that we have to come back soon for some too since we wanted to try out a few other things last night. Nice little hidden gem!
