This is a pile’em high kind of restaurant. Service was attentive and the ambience evoking a feel of Mexico. On the recommendation of the server I ordered the following:
1) complementary chips and salsa – this was delicious and the best part of the meal. I had to push the tray away since I could not stop eating it
2) pollo tapatio – 2/5 bland chicken breast served on raw onions and green bell pepper slices, and topped with mushrooms and cheese. Never had chicken served on raw onions and raw bell pepper. The complementary sides needed a whole plate of its own. The avocado was spoilt by the addition of a dollop of sour cream. The Mexican rice was bland. The tortillas that were wrapped in aluminum foil were store bought and generic. This was so much food for what they charge. I would rather they reduce portion sizes and pay more attention to the quality of the food
3) flan – 4/5 good, a little dense. Does not have the soft jiggly feel of a good flan.

Carsey was a super great waitress! Explained the menu in great style and was super attentive to our needs. She recommended this dish (mole recreated with shredded chicken) called emoledas I believe. And the chocolate cheesecake was a super great end to a very nice meal! We will be back!!

A solid authentic Mexican restaurant.

The food is good enough, that I would recommend the restaurant to a friend. Clean comfortable attractive interior. Very good service. Large menu. The salsas are decent; order the salsa picante. The Guacamole was delicious, but likely factory made. For me a relleno and a taco. The taco shell was a little over toasted. A minor complaint. My wife had a simple steak burrito, packed end to end with tender flavorful steak. No significant criticisms of either meal.

Of the Mexican restaurants I have tried in Pryor, Pueblo Viejo is at the top of my list.
Give Pueblo Viejo a try.

This is the spot to stop if your visiting pryor, hot delicious food paired with yummy drinks.Service has always been great for me it isn’t super expensive especially with the quality you are getting. Clean, bright, and lively restaurant. Lots of smiles and people any time I come in.I order the Fajitas Hawaiian with a Bahama mama but the blue Hawaiian is also a great choice that pairs well. My partner loves the Emily Special. Overall just a great dining experience

Their food taste delicious. They come with free chip, salsa, and spicy sauce for spicy person I am not. I order chicken beef fajitas. My waiter check on me to making sure I am doing okay he quickly refill my water. Inside their restaurant look cleaned, tables and chairs feel nice. Good looking bar place. I dont have any problem coming to their place, I never argued anything when I travel out of town, country. I will definitely coming back 🙂

We had rice with cheese, chicken enchiladas, and a chicken/shrimp burrito. This was absolutely the best Mexican rice I have ever tasted. It was so moist and flavorful. The chicken in the enchilada was very high quality. The people were extremely nice! Can’t wait to find a reason to come back to pryor and try this again!!

First Time Diner here. Ordered the street tacos and the combination number for. We were very happy with the service and with my combination dinner. However the me in the street tacos did not taste like it had been seasoned. Other than that I would give this place a buy! Will still come back!

This place is ok. Mixed reviews from my kids. One said best beef burrito he’s ever had but the other said he didn’t like it. They had the kid’s beef burritos. My food was pretty good. I got the cheese enchilada with pork on top. Everything reasonably priced.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. By far the most authentic Mexican restaurant in town. Although you can still find plenty of the menu tex-mex if you know what to order. Lovely spices, the wait staff are super friendly and very respectful. Always a great time. The food is OUTSTANDING, combine that with drinks available if thats your fancy its a full solid great time. 10/10 would reccomend every time and have been coming here for nearly the entire 2 years they’ve been open. Com in today for a great meal!

Things started nice enough with our party of eight. Once our food arrived things went downhill fast. We ordered guacamole that had half an avocado peel inside. There were huge chunks unmashed avocado as well. We did more guacamole making than they did.

Things continued to go downhill from here. Our hot dog kids meal was the last thing to arrive. A good ten minutes after the rest of our food. A hot dog. Let’s also talk about the street tacos. This is a staple item in the area. The waiter seemed to know what she was talking about and walked out with hard tacos.

My enchiladas and hard taco ground beef appeared to be from a vat that was burnt. Most of my meat seemed to be scraped from the bottom preventing me from enjoying any of my food.

The rice is dry, the chips are stale. You’d have better luck at Chili’s.
