was excited to see a pudgies, a place I havent been
to since I was a kid. So me and my wife stopped in
and We ordered food there. Besides not having
several menu items and being told we’d have to
call a day early the food we DID receive was bland
and overcooked. But all of that would have been
fine, I mean it is just a small fast food style chicken
place, if not for what happened next.
They have several items and things on the menu
which are pretty straightforward named “Mac and
cheese bites”, ect. So she ordered the “cheddar
and broccoli” bites. Something one would assume
like everything else listed, it’s name implies what it
is. Unfortunately when my vegetarian wife bit in
she was upset to find bacon. It was disappointing
but not the end of the world of not a little
frustrating that they didn’t list it. So we called back
to request a refund or some kind of remedy as this
is the kind of mess up that can REALLY get
someone sick or hurt someone. But instead of
apologies and remedies? She was told “we don’t do
refunds…You should have told us beforehand that
you can’t eat bacon”… On an item that shouldn’t
have bacon if not listed?!?
So after she refused to give any refunds or do
anything she also refused to give us any numbers
or speak to a manager or anything. So I conclusion
the food is horrible, the place is dirty, the
employees are sitting around on their phones and
then the attitude and lack of ANY attempt at
customer service is beyond unacceptable
As someone who’s been in the culinary industry for
over 20 years this is unacceptable food, practices
and service… To say I won’t be coming back after
my overwhelming excitement I had BEFORE
walking in would be a gross understatement..

Absolutely zero stars if I could. Ordered a 70$ 3 foot chicken “fillet” hero for superbowl party and you have to be kidding me.The “FILLET” is dollar store chicken patties, Like a middle school lunch sandwich. It’s disgusting not edible and worse than the ripoff it’s embarrassing to have bought this. Hoenstly wasn’t too excited to have bought this to begin with but figured who would want a chicken “fillet” sandwich. PUDGIES FAMOUS CHICKEN how about you put actual chicken in your 70$ sandwich.

Besides, the place is filthy. I’m watching the lady that’s taking care of all the customers not once washing her hands handling money touching everything. And touching people food with no gloves. I had to wait for my food for the people that came after me. Not a smile, not even a hair net Definitely will never go there again. I don’t know how it’s passing inspection because it’s pretty filthy and employees like I said, did not wash their hands, touching the counter, touching the money, just touching everything peoples food.

EXCEPTIONAL!!! Super clean, super fresh, flavor on another level! I grew up going to Long John Silver’s in Manhattan across from Madison Square Gardne at least once a month with my family right before we’d watch the Rangers play. The memories. Well Arthur Treacher’s Selden brought those memories back. I’d pay a million dollars to go back my childhood. Thank you Arthur Treacher’s for giving me and my mom priceless memories back. Your food is so delicious, light and great prices. Service is always exceptional. I can’t say it any better. The best of the best of the best. Just go!

Just went there an the customer service is absolutely horrible. Got home and after spending over $30, I bite into my broccoli and cheddar bites that are filled with bacon. I’ve been a vegetarian for over 20 years, and no where on the menu did it say bacon. I called back to see if I could get the item replaced or a refund. The woman helping said that they don’t do refunds and then argued with me and blamed me for not asking what was in them. I requested to speak to a manager to which she said no so I asked for a number to corporate, and she flat out refused. Being in the culinary industry this type of behavior is unacceptable and disheartening. I definitely will never return

Pudgie’s chicken is the best around. Large size pieces of fresh skinless chicken and not to mention how incredible inexpensive it is compared to other places. I’m equally impressed by the fish from Arthur Teachers and their Nathan’s Hot dogs takes me back to my childhood days at Coney Island! This store is a neighborhood treasure!

Good food but severely understaffed due to cheap ownership. I understand being busy. But I called to place an order at 4 pm and they always try to deter us from getting delivery. They tell us it’s going to be an hour and a half. The first time it happened the order was here within a half hour then again it happened and the order was here within a half hour now tonight the guy tells me it’s going to be almost 2 hours for delivery so this time I tell him we’ll come pick it up and he says OK. It’ll be ready in 20 minutes. It’s really insane that they try To force you to go pick up instead of using their delivery service. When I went in to pick the food up, there were only two workers there. So that explains why they deter people from getting delivery because they probably don’t even have a delivery driver all the time. That is ridiculous at dinner time to only have two staff members working at an establishment like this.
