The hot honey cheesteak was incredible! I couldn’t even finish the 12in sub and gladly took the rest home for later. Hot Honey, diced chicken, bacon, cooper sharp and jalepenos! Perfect mix and the staff was very pleasant as well.

So if you’re jonesing for a good cheesesteak and fries you need to eat here. We ordered the bacon cheese fries, boy did they arrive fairly quick which made me skeptical about its taste and crispiness. Boy was I wrong! They were piping hot covered in that cheesy goodness. I loved how they retained the crispy outside and the melt in your mouth tenderness inside. We did need to add a dash of salt but I actually preferred that.
Next came our steak sammies yes I said sammies but don’t let that fool you it’s just my own personal terminology. The cheesesteaks were also piping hot. Loved that! Even made a comment about them needing to make pasta because I love my pasta piping hot! The sammie was filled to the brim with steak cheese and shrooms for us and yes it was delicious. It’s so full that it came with a fork!
So bottom line is if you don’t live close to the city but want a good cheesesteak here’s your go to. We drove from Bucks so it was a much easier and closer drive than an hr trip to Philadelphia.

Very good cheesesteak. It was very cheesy and a great amount of onions. The beef was flavorful. Cost was also great. I ordered online and pick was super quick and easy.

This particular Pudge’s was magnificent! It had been recommended by several people, and it was our goal to get an authentic Philly cheesesteak while there, so we went. And we were not disappointed! My boyfriend had the 20″ cheesesteak with American cheese (pictured), and I had the regular (12″) chicken pizza steak with fried onions added. The chicken was seasoned well and every bite was tasty! The fries were great initially, but like most fries, they’re not as good as they cool. My boyfriend had the bacon cheese fries, which he seemed to enjoy. There were so many options and I can’t wait to try a different one when we go back… because we will!

Never had a bad meal. We have had mostly the cheesesteaks and hoagies. Today I needed 4 cheesesteaks to package for a flight to Colorado. The person who answered the phone was so helpful and suggested separating the meat and rolls. Everything was packaged beautifully. Thanks Pudges!!

Heard great things about this place and honestly what I ordered did not live up to the hype that was said. Granted I did not order a cheesesteak which could have led to the not so great meal but went with a chicken parm combo. While the bread was soft and fresh the inside lacked flavor. The marinara sauce used tasted bland and needed a bit more seasoning. While the cutlet pieces were drenched in the gravy so the breading was more soggy than crispy. Sadly the blandest carried over the French fries which had zero salt this time around. While my first experience wasn’t that great I’ll probably be back but would have to try different items.

Ordered an Ultimate “Hot” Pork Sandwhich. The Pork was substandard of a Pork Sandwhich, like it was taken out of a freezer and warmed up, and not much too the sandwhich. For 15.00, the sandwhich should be fresh pork teaming with meat and juicy, not dry where you need to dump Au-Ju on it to make it moist. 40 years I have been going to Pudges, but the quality has continued to go downhill. I don’t mind paying 15.00 for something that is worth it.

My first go at a Norristown-style Zep sandwich at Pudge’s Steaks and Hoagies in #BlueBell, #PA. A close relative to the Hoagie, a Zep is notable for NO LETTUCE, excessive raw onion, and cooked salami. That’s a cold cut with a texture closer to bologna than dry-aged salami, in case you thought it was a hot sandwich. #INeverSausageaSandwich #HappyFathersDay2025

Got take out to bring to Brooklyn. They separated out the meat and double wrapped the bread for us to assemble at home. It was still warm 2 hours later. And delicious! Great service, great cheesesteaks!
