Pub & Kitchen is an authentic neighborhood tavern located on the corner of 20th and Lombard in Philadelphia. For over a decade, we’ve served a menu featuring elevated farm to table offerings, alongside an innovative bar program specializing in wine, local beers, and craft cocktails. Our menu is constantly evolving, fluctuating with the seasons and availability of product.
Our lively and comfortable restaurant features a large wood-lined bar, bustling dining room, and charming sidewalk cafe on a tree-lined street. Dinner reservations are available, but we always welcome walk-ins on a first-come, first serve basis.
A lively crowd frequents this wood-lined bar & eatery specializing in burgers & Euro-American food.

I hosted my daughter’s engagement party at the Pub & Kitchen in Philadelphia. I worked with Emily, the event coordinator, to organize all the details. Emily went above and beyond to make sure that everything ran perfectly. The Pabbit Room on the second floor provided the perfect atmosphere for this special event. The servers, Kyle and Bella were very friendly and attentive throughout the entire day. Everything from the appetizers to the drinks were beautifully presented and delicious. They made sure that all of our guests felt welcomed. I would highly recommend the Pub & Kitchen for hosting any special event, you will not be disappointed!

We never would have known about this pub if not for our bartender at Andra Hem hearing that we were looking for dinner and he sent us to pub&kitchen. It has a pub feel and was a little crowded and noisy at the bar with sports on, but that died down and the eating area is nicely placed. There is a small but fabulous menu with delicious food. Service was above expectations and the food was phenomenal. Definitely more upscale food style than a regular pub. Don’t overlook the grilled pepper on the plate, they’re unique and really tasty.

Amazing food, just great flavors. Beer options are lean and I wish had a little more thought. Cocktails are good and recommended. Can get crazy loud in here, which is annoying if you want to chill with friends, then you’re having screaming conversations. The bartenders appear able to read lips which helps negate the noise issue.

Pub and Kitchen has an awesome atmosphere and the food is incredible, but what truly makes it a great restaurant is the staff. The bartenders are all very attentive and friendly, never an empty glass! 10/10

Had brunch here and the food here was very good, such a cute little place! I got a mimosa and the classic breakfast, both were pretty good. My partner got the wrangler, said it was the best cocktail he’s ever had. Service was great and our waitress was very very kind. My only complaint is that the deviled egg dish seemed very small for the price, anticipated it being a bit more but oh well.

Me and my boyfriend went here late night on Sunday before the snow storm started. Both me and him got food poisoning from eating here. He ordered the whiskey wings, I got the Oysters and Smash burger. Around 3/4 am I started experiencing horrible stomach pain and since than been having horrible watery diarrhea the consistency of pee. It’s now Tuesday and I’m still having cramps and diarrhea. My boyfriend said he been having a funny feeling but just started throwing up as of last night and this morning. I would never come back here.

Super chill neighborhood gastropub. I met a friend for drinks and food here. We loved the place, vibe, food, and drinks. The whiskey honey wings will make you move in! The First Kiss cocktail was tasty! The beer selection was awesome too. Service was prompt, friendly, and super helpful.

Definitely a fan of this neighborhood pub/kitchen. Came here once for a quick drink while walking to another restaurant, and they made one of the best Old Fashions I ever had. Came back formally for Happy Hour and dinner, and again made an amazing Old Fashion, so it’s not a fluke. It’s also on the HH menu! Service was great and easy since you can book via OpenTable. Quaint outdoor seating area that is first come first serve (no reservations). The food is above average; I definitely recommend their Deviled Eggs (though pricey even on HH). The pasta was also rather interesting but delicious. Service was great as well!
Rating: 8.5/10
Pros: Reservations possible, good HH
Cons: Bit pricier than I had hoped
Recommendations: Definitely try the Old Fashion

Great bar that’s been around since about 2010 and still kicking butt! Outdoor seating, great bar, private dining room upstairs. One of the better burgers you’ll find around town. They keep the menus updated and the service is on point and they have a great happy hour. They also do a decent brunch (try the French toast!) on the weekends that I’ve checked out a few times and enjoyed.
