Even with my odd eyes squinted behind shades I was blinded by the sun beautifully failing to warm up the young brisk morning air in Batavia NY. My short psychedelic journey the night prior had come to an end and I was in need of caffeine like a fiend like a sin. Google fingers worked accordingly and pointed me towards thee (drum roll) …Pub Coffee Hub! (Horns playing).
Located on the bottom floor of a warehousey industrial looking building thingy …I knew this cafe would have character. Walking up it is easy to miss the entrance best described as a discreet but vibrant green door which opens up with a mild creak. The initial view introduces you to a new dimension opening up into a new realm. Green and black colors are clearly a thing. Slight funk and individuality ooze from the interior design language. There is so much green in this place that they wouldn’t even have to decorate to win “Best in Show” at the local St. Patty’s Day parade. So much green that they have a neighborhood dog named Snoop as a regular. Anyway…I ordered from an entertaining menu and went with a simple small dark roast and a tasty sounding burrito named with an acronym.
The coffee was better than average and got better with each sip. Do the math. The burrito arrived (looking plain like burritos do) but was very alive on the inside. The diced eggs…the cheddar…that salsa and them jalapeños all came together harmoniously in my mouth. I give it the nod. There’s so much to do and observe inside this quirky lil place. From the old vinyl record collection to the table top art show place mats…there is always something to mentally play around with. (Next time try the smoothies…I whisper to myself). I spent a while inside but not long enough to blow my cover as the coolest reviewer breathing. There’s oh so much more to explore at the Pub Coffee Hub. Somethin to look forward to during my next visit. Speaking of that…Whenever you find yourself in Batavia this should be an early stop because you can easily lose track of time here.
And that’s ok.

Literally everytime I enter this shop or buy anything from here I am pretty much ascended to heaven. The service has always been top tier, the food is to die for, and every drink blessed by this place is beyond delicious. This will stay one of my favorite coffee places of all time, one time this employee was literally working in roller skates, immaculate vibes. Also the food here, especially the baklava and the grilled cheeses, are the best in this entire country. I love this place. PLEASE GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.

I get the Baklava every time I stop in here, it’s great. Not exactly traditional, but delicious nonetheless. Paired with a doubleshot of Espresso, and I have a prefect quick breakfast or midday snack. Sometimes the line can be a little long but don’t let that deter you. They got good stuff here. I hear the breakfast plates are good too…

On our way from Rochester to Niagara falls, the family stopped here for some excellent espresso drinks. The location is interesting and directly across from a famous cemetery of the war of 1812. The barista was awesome and explained a lot of the history of the town and that there are a ton of visitors that come through to see peace garden and the cemetery across the street. My wife and I tried two of the drinks from the “friends” menu and they were very sweet but very good.

I was so impressed with their coffee. I am a traveler and am always looking for new coffee places to try. I stopped at Pub Coffee in Batavia for a hot mocha and I just want to say, with absolute honesty, that was the best coffee I’ve ever had! I’m not getting anything from writing this review and I don’t usually bother writing them, but this place deserves the recognition. Please check them out for yourselves!

Usually a great place for the best latte! Unfortunately today was an exception to the rule- must of been a new person working, it was the strongest latte with no flavor I have ever had! Hope it was a fluke, enjoy great coffee spots with all the atmosphere to boot.

Pub Coffee Hub is unapologetically the BEST coffee shop in Batavia/Genesee County. I have been a fan of theirs since they opened in 2020, and I continue to be impressed by the quality they provide in every aspect of their business. From the quality of their products, to their customer service – everything they do is done with excellence. If there is ever an issue, or concern, they are very willing to accommodate and make your experience with them as positive as possible.
Rob, and his team, offer friendly & outstanding service. It is evident that Rob leads his staff by example, as he is always welcoming and goes above and beyond for his customers.
I have loved every item I’ve ever ordered from them, but if you are looking for a Chai tea latte and you haven’t tried theirs – I’m not sure what you’re waiting for! They make the best in the area. Their “Friends” themed menu items and their breakfast sandwiches are also some of my favorites.
Their mobile app offers a convenient way to order ahead & they have always provided quick service when I’ve used it.
While public parking (with the occasional need to use your parallel parking skills) can be tricky at times; it’s always worth whatever slight inconvenience to order from them.
Stop by today – you’ll thank yourself!

We came here in the middle of the freak ice/snow/wind storm on December 23, and had a very pleasant breakfast. Great vibe here. So we went again on December 26, and once again had a very nice time. If you want a relaxed coffeehouse atmosphere from a local, non-chain business, this is the place. It will become an “automatic” stop for us whenever we are in Batavia.

Just ordered a coffee and a breakfast sandwich here for the first time and absolutely loved both so much i had to leave a review right away. The bacon egg and cheese might be the best I’ve had around here in years. It reminded me of the kind I’d get back home in NYC. Everything was fresh as delicious.
