It was alright. Pretty average. The chili on the nachos was strangely seasoned, but it gets good reviews, so maybe just not my preference. He got a fried bologna sandwich and he said it was great, but his slaw side dish was so mushy and way too much dressing. I got a Greek salad with grilled chicken. It was light and fresh. We had to ask for drink refills. Overall, just average, not too crazy, and not a 5 star for the price.

Service was the best part of the visit. Our waiter was attentive, quick and honestly the reason this gets more than a two. The food was decent. My bison burger was way overcooked but my wife’s black bean burger was very good so it ended up being a split. The bar had draft beer but nothing was listed on the menu and there were no separate beer menus which made it feel like guesswork. The place was loud but it was also large and very busy so that comes with the territory. I give credit where it is due because the staff tried, but I would not return. No food photos this time because it was not worth the effort.

I am a weary traveler passing through from Chicago heading to Alabama. This restaurant was a Haven of amazing food and great service. The beer was cold and the magnolia salad with blackened salmon really hit the spot.

I had a good experience here. Everyone in my group said the food was good and the wait staff was attentive. Even though we had a group of eight we still got seated quickly. We arrived at around noon on a Saturday. The food was decently priced but it was honestly lacking any spices.
The “El Diablo” starter was far from anything that should be called Diablo and it lacked any notable flavor. Pictured is the “Southern Burger.” Being from Texas I didn’t have high expectations for the burger was it wasn’t bad. The only problem I had with the food was that, again, it lacked any distinct flavor that would set it apart from other places. I chose the chilis as a side. It had a good variety of ingredients, but as a Texan the chili was rather average.
Overall it wasn’t a bad place to eat by a long shot, the staff was attentive and fast and kept an eye on refills. The food came out quick and we were not waiting forever to get the check. If I lived in the Town, I would probably be back to eat there.

Really enjoyed our time here! We got the Pork Schnitzel Piccata and the Southern Burger and they were both phenomenal. Our waitress, Megan, was the perfect balance of attentive but not hovering. We enjoyed the plethora of delicious options offered and our only complaint is that we couldn’t pick more than 1 option to eat for lunch because the portion sizes are very generous! Would absolutely recommend if you’re in the area!

After a bad experience , practically no one talking to us at Smokey Bones, we drove across to Pub by Novo thinking we’d have to wait forever since the place was clearly packed. But to our surprise, we were seated immediately. Before the hostess even walked away, our server (I believe her name was Sabryn, hope I spelled it right!) was already taking our drink orders.
Everything just flowed perfectly. No attitude, no waiting around, no wondering if we’d been forgotten. The service was friendly and on point from the moment we walked in.
The food? Hot, fresh, and seriously good. My burger was cooked perfectly to temp, and the tacos were loaded with meat, way more than I expected for just $5 each. The flavor was rich, bold, and honestly kind of refreshing compared to the usual.
This place has it all: great service, generous portions, solid prices, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll absolutely be coming back the next time I’m in Bowling Green, and I’ll be recommending it to all my local friends.

We were visiting from out of town and this restaurant was recommended to us, and it did not disappoint! The food was really good, and the service made the experience even better. Our waiter was attentive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely glad we stopped in!

I had to try the Hot Brown since they are so difficult to find around here, in Kentucky. Imagine that. And it was quite tasty. The fries are cut in house from an actual potato, though they were a bit oily but I still enjoyed it greatly.
My 1st time visiting this establishment, I’m more of a diner type. That said, it was a bit loud for me, but it’s a sports bar, so it was expected.
The food was good, the service was good. I would recommend giving them a try.

We stumbled upon Pub Novo while passing through Bowling Green—and left completely blown away.
Let’s start with Nathan, our phenomenal server. From the moment we walked in, he turned what could’ve been an ordinary meal into an experience. We originally requested outdoor seating and were told it was closed—but some gracious accommodations were made, and we were thrilled. Nathan made us feel like VIPs from start to finish.
The menu was so packed with tempting choices that we honestly struggled to decide. But Nathan patiently walked us through every option we asked about, describing each dish in such vivid, mouthwatering detail, it was like we could taste it just hearing him talk. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and kindness made the night unforgettable—and our drinks were never empty.
Now the food? Exceptional.

Great place! …assuming you don’t show up an hour and nineteen minutes before they close.
This place was quickly becoming my favorite, till I got stuck with an absolute clown of a server. It was evident they were slow when I arrived, so when I walked in I asked the bartender if they’d be closing soon. With a bubbly reply she assured me they weren’t and the kitchen was open till 10 if I wanted to order some food. Sweet, so I grab a seat (there were other customers seated eating also).
Server comes up immediately,, obviously irritated and impatient. Wanting to know my order… I didn’t even have a menu(?). Long story short he lied to me and told me they closed at 10pm, and gave me a spiel about how they can’t get google to change their hours online (mind you I checked their website also). I apologized.. but then puzzled I repeat what the bartenders just told me… he back pedals on his story, and said he could place an order for me if it was in the next 15 minutes. I should have just left. I got my food and inhaled it. But before I finished, the last customers left around 10:20, they turn these obnoxious spotlights on immediately. Childish behavior. Why I even left him a tip is beyond me. Mind you their hours are 11am-11pm on Wednesdays. I get serving can be tough at times.. but taking it out on frequent (or any) customers is asinine. Never again will I recommend this place. Best of luck with google fixing your hours
