I’m from the QC and when we first started eating a traditional QC pizza it was amazing! The last couple of times we were there they were nothing like what they used to be. Really skimpy on the sausage and the flavor of the sauce and crust is not the same.

I have always been a fan of pub 49, until now.
Unfortunately I had this delivered and did not eat in the restaurant for the first time. I ordered. My usual. Not only does it look disgusting because the meat is just threw in there and not shredded up, it is also missing bacon, But there’s not even enough lettuce to consider this a full meal for $17.95. I will never be back. Very disappointed

Always enjoy dinning at Pub 49.
Live in Va. come down to volunteer for Charlotte motor speedway Charity, try to make it to 49 at least once.
Food was great as always, server not so much seem preoccupied, oh well.
Becca finished up waiting on me.
She’s the Best. Looking forward to visiting 49 again in a few weeks. Thanks

I’ve been wanting to try this pizza place for a number of years now, but can’t seem to catch them when they’re open since apparently they don’t open until 4:30 during the week.
I noticed they don’t offer the typical ‘supreme’ or ‘deluxe’ style so I ordered their 16″ ‘Quad’, which is their meat pizza, and just had them to add peppers and onions. The young lady on the phone said you can get whatever you want on it.
One of my pet peeves is raw bell pepper on a pizza after it’s cooked and I noticed in one of their online photos what appeared to be raw peppers on a finished pizza. I was fully expecting NOT to like it. Boy was I wrong! What a tasty pizza! Everything, including the peppers, was cooked to perfection. I like a somewhat chewy medium-thin crust, with a well cooked crunchy edges, and this one didn’t disappoint. Excellent! Not too thick, and not too thin.
Another thing I really like, all the ingredients are cooked UNDER the cheese, and there was lots of it! Most places do it the opposite way, but I prefer it this way. In my humble opinion it makes a juicier pie with the flavors melded together better.
One other thing I noticed and really like; they cut the pie into strips instead of the typical wedges. It makes the larger pie MUCH easier to pick up and eat!
Looks like I’ve got a new pizza joint to enjoy!

This pizza definitely reminds me of the Quad Cities. Crust was nice and crispy even with a 15 minute drive home for takeout. We’ll be back!

The best pizza in Harrisburg, and trust me, I’ve tried them all. I’m kicking myself for not having tried Pub 49 Pizza before. The crust reminds me of my childhood pizza place in WV. Crust is crispy and soft with a slight (nice) chew – you just have to try it to see what I mean. The sauce is not too sweet, just right. The toppings are fresh and just like toppings should be – they don’t overpower. Do not sleep on Pub 49 Pizza.

Agree with everyone else that it tastes like old school Quad Cities style pizza! Crust was phenomenal and the fennel sausage gave it that QC taste. Also, the pretzel chips were incredible with good local beer on tap! We will definitely be back

It was packed. Once we ordered 4 or 5 tables came in after us and got there food before us. When I asked about it the Manager came over very casually and ask us if we needed her as if they hadn’t already told her. She made several excuses why we hadn’t gotten our food. We ordered nachos and an Italian sub. The other 2 people got burgers before us. She took a whole 1.00 off our bill. Next time just say you lost the order and apologize. Food was ok.

Ordered a couple pizzas and came to pick them up. Noticed on my receipt that they were charging me a $6 fee for not eating the pizza there. No other pizza place does this and we found it very off-putting. Don’t most order pizza and take it home? Because of this fee, I didn’t tip. And we will order pizza elsewhere next time.
