I’m one who loves good food and have no problem paying for it. I recently had the opportunity of visiting the establishment and needless to say that I was extremely disappointed.
35$ for catfish (that wasn’t really catfish) cabbage and rice, the rice and cabbage were cooked too long,
Then the meatloaf greens and Mac and cheese. It’s one thing if it’s store bought, but damn. My Wife makes better and a lot more polite.
I’m going to leave the service and everything else alone because I didn’t get what I paid for.

The bacon double cheeseburger is fantastic. PT’s may be known for the fish and soul food but this burger is a silent MVP. Freshly grilled beef patties topped with cheese, thick cut bacon, fresh veggies, mustard and mayo, sandwiched between 2 toasted buns is a winning combination guaranteed to satisfy your hunger. The fries are seasoned just right with a superb crisp. Lastly, grab you something sweet to complete your feast. The banana pudding chess cake will change you life!

It’s so many good options to choose from. The oxtail meat falls right off the bone! They give a big piece of cornbread- I was like gyat!

I really enjoyed the food and the great service. I’m not in this area often and my wife had been wanting to try this place for awhile. The fried chicken is worth another trip! I had the sampler platter and my wife got the soul food plate. The greens are excellent and the yams were very tasty. The shrimp were plump and had a crispy cornbread batter that was also on the fried catfish. The portions were very generous. We got dessert and the banana pudding was yummy. I haven’t tried the cheesecake yet. My favorite was the fried chicken. Definitely coming back.
