Located on the corner of 13th and Sansom, Prunella’s white marble-topped bar is the showpiece, complimented by lush greenery, and it’s iconic photo wall. The effortlessly beautiful space is both casual and energetic, matching it’s menu of an elevated take on American style pizza designed by Culinary Director Ed Pinello. Pulling inspiration from the floor to ceiling windows, the menu matches it’s bright aesthetic by using fresh seasonal ingredients to create small plates and fresh pasta. The menu would not be complete without a signature wine and beer list, paired with thoughtful cocktails designed to complement the light and airy ambience of Prunella.

Sipped a glass of house red during happy hour today and got 2 pizzas for take out to enjoy with my husband at home. Everything was great! My wine, the service, staff, atmosphere. Very friendly staff, they explained to me that they don’t currently do delivery or pick up through Doordash but I was more than welcome to grab a seat at the bar and order pizza to go. While waiting, I ordered a glass of red ($6 for house red that was really great!) and I read my Kindle. The atmosphere was very relaxing, not too noisy. The place was stylish and the green pants added an extra charm. I wasn’t rushed even after my pizzas to go were ready in about 20min. Even when re-heated (we had dinner about 2 hours after I picked them up) they were delicious!! We got one mushroom and one pepperoni. I think the mushroom pizza is my new favorite in Philly. We will definitely be back!

We had such a great experience at Prunellas! We got the caesar salad, meatballs, and the white claw pizza. Everything was delish. The caesar was one of my favorites in the city. It has a little spice to it which makes it stand out. The inside ambiance was great. Great cocktail list as well. Can’t wait to go back!

A great spot for happy hour or a intimate dinner. Personally love coming for happy hour, they offer their happy hour pizza to be gluten free which is a great sell. Unfortunately you can only sit at the bar for happy hour which can fill up quickly, but if you have the opportunity to go then it’s a great chance to sample some items on the menu! We usually get the special of the night pizza and then a plain one to share between two of us and a cocktail. A great date night. Our service has been hit or miss but overall everyone’s pretty friendly. they also offer outside seating which helps open up opportunities for bigger parties

Another birthday brunch with an old friend. When I say that this is one of the best meals I have had in a while! The Kareem the Dream pizza (braised pear, pork sausage and thyme), crispy octopus with spring onions, potatoes and grilled lemon, and the spicy caesar salad (you can add shrimp or chicken).. I will definitely be going back to this place. Oh and the drinks were good, too!

It’s a cozy restaurant with impeccable service. Everything was delicious from the spicy Ceasars salad to the homemade meatballs!! I had mentioned to our server that it was my daughter’s birthday and he suprise her with a sparkler in her dessert! It was unexpected and a perfect way to end her birthday lunch. We will definitely be back again.

It’s such a cute spot! The happy hour menu is smash hit for us. There’s a good variety so you don’t feel bad missing out the main menu. Happy hour is only from 4pm to 6pm at the bar and outdoor seating as well. The food were all so good – especially the mozzarella with peaches. I was very doubtful at first but I’m completely sold at this point since the peaches gives a clean fresh feeling, it goes perfectly with the soft mozzarellacheese slices. If you got a date planned and no where to go yet- this is it!!! The atmosphere is so dainty clean and upscale casual vibe. The pizza is so good, thin and well balanced. GO AND TRY

Prunella has an incredible atmosphere. It’s not an amazing appetizer kind of place. But the drinks are amazing. Every pizza on their menu is a specialty pizza – but you are now able to just request a pepperoni pizza (which wasn’t the case before). Try the meatballs but ask for extra ricotta on the side… the dab of ricotta has decreased over time.

The best pizza we have ever had! We ordered the Kareem the Dream with braised pair, thyme and sausage as well as the Plain Jane and added garlic. For dessert we ordered the chocolate hazelnut budino. Both pizzas were absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is light and airy. The cocktails were so good. We haven’t stopped talking about the pizza since we were there. We are really looking forward to visiting again the next time we are in Philly!
