Overall very good experience but it took a long time to get our food.

Overall I feel like Provino’s brand is consistently good and one of the better Italian restaurants in the area. This is a larger one with lots of rooms and nooks and crannies for dining experience. Our food was delicious and tasted very consistent with past dining experiences.

Our salad, rolls and appetizers came out pretty quickly but there was a big gap in waiting for our entrees to arrive. When they finally arrived everything was hot and fresh – so I’m not sure of the reason for the delay. I’d definitely go back when I’m in the area and craving Italian food.

Our first visit with our kids who had been before and raved about it. Unfortunately it was just okay at least for my taste buds. The restaurant is tucked in a strip mall with ample parking. There are no windows to look outside once inside the restaurant, but it gave it a lovely ambiance inside. I did love the feeling inside, quaint and cozy with a step-back-in-time. Lots of old pics of famous actors hanging all over the walls, very nostalgic.
The inside is quite large with various rooms that hold lots of tables and people. We were seated in the library room (what I call it). Nice and roomy with great lighting. Our waiter was good, tend to talk too much for my liking. However he was very informative, but felt like he needed to tell us stories. lol
Wasn’t sure what kind of white wine I wanted and asked for a small taste of a couple, but he brought me over small tastes of all the whites which was very nice and unexpected. My husband and I wanted something basic and selected spaghetti with Mariana meat sauce. I have to be honest, it was just mehhh! The Mariana sauce was good but the meat was pulverized into very, very, very small pieces which to me wasn’t very appetizing. The flavor was also just okay.
My SIL ordered his favorite, lasagna and seemed to enjoy it. The salad that accompanies your meal was drenched in dressing which was way to me for me, but I ate it because I enjoyed all things that came in the salad (see pic). Beets are usually never in a salad and we love them so great job on that one. We also didn’t really enjoy the rolls since they were swimming in melted butter (see pic). Definitely love bread with our Italian food and ate them for that very reason but I most likely will not be back. I know there are other Italian restaurants local so I’d like to give those a try. Last but not least, our spumoni with the shortbread cookie was delish. I’m glad we gave Provino’s a shot since we see them advertised on the big billboards, but not sure if I’ll return any time soon.

The food, ambience, and service are amazing! I never had to worry about my water or the salad or rolls. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere reminded my Buca di Bepo. It was very beautiful. Great for a date night dinner.

Our server took great care of us. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. Sadly, our rolls were pretty tough. We asked for another bowl of rolls, and they were good. The salad seemed just a little like it was not as fresh as normal. Just a little wilted. The chicken eggplant was very good.

First time visiting for a private party and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was amazing, the service was excellent and attentive, and the private party room was very nice and well set up. Everything was handled seamlessly making it a great place for hosting special events. Highly recommend!

The staff were very accommodating when my food was cold in the middle. They reheated it and were nice about it. My lasagna was cold in the middle, and my husband’s warm. The salad was very good, but there was a lack of seasoning. We won’t recommend or return.

Provino’s is one of my go-to neighborhood restaurants for great food and ambiance. The entrees are very reasonably priced and delicious, the house salad is phenomenal, and the appetizers are outstanding! I also want to mention that if you visit on the day of your birthday; you will receive a free, pre selected entree or a discount of
fifteen dollars off an entree of your choice. Provino’s is the perfect location to celebrate any special moment in your life❣️❣️

We love Provino’s. We eat here anytime we are near it. Their food is consistently great. I order Angel Hair Dalvina or Chicken Marsala. All entrees come with salad and garlic knots. My husband gets Cioppino frequently. The Cumming, GA location is our favorite, but they’re all good.

We held my mother’s 80th birthday in the private dining room in the back and we could not have been happier. Victoria, the manager and our servers Aiden and Nate were spectactular. They were very accomodating, they didn’t say no to anything. We were able to get in a couple of hours early and put up our own EXTENSIVE decorations (tablecloths, chargers, name cards, balloon arch backdrop/projection screen, lots of florals arrangements. etc.). The only restriction was no glitter or confetti, very reasonable expecially since it was the only restriction. We were able to close the beautiful double french doors and block the outside view a backdrop. We were able to adjust the lighting exactly how we wanted it, when we wanted since we had some documentary style videos we projected for the guests intermittantly through the evening. Aiden and Nate pleasantly handled all of our guests requests and were very attentive and responsive with my requests. We knew the food was good having eaten there a few times but everything was served in a timely manner according my schedule. We had about 30 guests and a photographer. I highly recommend this place for a small but fancy event. We felt the price was quite reasonable for what we got. Thank you again, Victoria, Aiden and Nate!!

The night we ate there, the food was terribly slow to come out; but when it did, we learned that it had not been worth waiting for. Instead of being al dente, the pasta was so mushy I could have eaten it with a straw. I would have sent it back, but it took so long to get the first time, I had no faith the could pull off a remake before midnight.
