Lemme explain.
Evidently three of the waitstaff called out. When we got there, we were greeted by a clearly exhausted waitress, struggling to be happy we were there. We got seated… then proceeded to wait, without being helped at all… after 15 – 20 minutes, I finally said this to, what I presume was a floor manager, or the like.
He promptly helped us and explained what was happening. He did his best to make sure we were accommodated.
I’ve been a waiter before. I know how hard it is. I know how it SUCKS when you’re understaffed.
So I want to thank John for treating us kindly.
And then also, the food was delicious. I got the Havana and my partner got the Cobb Salad. (And she loved the chocolate cover strawberries!)

The wings were super good. We ordered boneless Buffalo wings. My husband ordered fish/COD with fries and I had pulled pork with an onion rings and cold slaw on burger bun. Unfortunately, my pulled pork was alittle cold for my liking but overall everything was good. We came here for NEWYEARS and they really set it up nicely for every one. Our server (Claudia) was great. Very attentive, super upbeat, and constantly checked on us regardless of how busy it got.

Came in and sat in the bar area. I got fried pickles and the spicy edamame. The fried pickles were super good. The spicy edamame was really good for the first 4 that I had and then they were overwhelmingly spicy. I’d definitely order them again and recommend them, but I’d recommend getting the sauce on the side to be able to control the spice!

This place could be so much better. Service was terrible. Took 15 minutes to get a glass for my beer. Place was less than half full and we waited a long time for our food. They forgot one of our dinners. Five people at the bar yet I didn’t get my second drink until after I ate my dinner. Now the good stuff. Food was great. Great atmosphere. The manager was SPECTACULAR. This review would have been a 2-star if not for her. Apologetic, checked in with us twice, made up for some of the short comings. My guess is if the manager owned this place, it would be 5-stars!!

A basement bar in Providence RI. It has many seats and fairly large menu. There was something for me to have too as I am pescatarian, some bars have nothing for me to have. We ordered many food and they were all good. Having some game machines (not loud) billiards table and other. I enjoyed the stay.

Avoid this place at all costs. My friends and I had a reservation and they seated us 20 minutes after our time. We wouldn’t have minded but after they apologized and gave us some menus, and glasses-Not a single person came by to even give us water. We ended up having to leave after another 30-40 mins of being ignored bc we were so hungry and thirsty. I was so disappointed, my friends and I don’t get together often. The service was so bad it didn’t even feel real.
Can’t even rate the food bc they never let us try it.

Laughably terrible service. Came in with a group of 5, and we initially thought we were being pranked. We were pointed to a table by the bar and sat for 15-20 minutes without anyone coming over to us. There were probably 10 employees milling about or standing in groups and a few more behind the bar. Every time a server walked by, we would try to get their attention, but they would intentionally avoid eye contact. We eventually asked the bar tender if there was a server assigned to our area, but she also seemed confused and walked away. We sat for at least another 5-10 minutes before someone came up to the table. She apologized, introduced herself, and then said she would leave us to look at the menu. We had been looking at the menu for 30 minutes already so we insisted that she take our drink and food orders. It was a struggle for her to take down the orders, but we thought we were finally getting somewhere. At this point, we were noticing multiple other tables trying desperately to flag down any server. Would love to say that the food and drinks were great, but we never found out. Another 10 minutes went by without even a glass of water, so we respectfully informed her we were leaving. She seemed completely unfazed.
Overall, such a bizarre experience. It was definitely unfortunate and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, but the experience did make for a funny story the next day.

We were looking for a place to eat near the PPAC that would be close to parking and the show. We found this gem of a place. You walk down the stairs into a fun place to eat. We liked the way Providence GPub is set up. My brother started with the Clili-Cheese Tater Tots. Just the right amount cheese and chili. My wife and I each a cup of the House Made Chili. A very hearty chili with a good amount of beef and beans. Flavor was very good. For dinner, my with had the Sesame-Ginger Chicken Salad. There was plenty of chicken and the flavor was excellent. My brother had the fish and chips, can’t go wrong with that meal. I had the Jamaican Jerk Chicken Club. Very tasty seasoning with excellent fries. Our server was very pleasant. All in all a very good time at the GPub. I would recommend this location if you are in the area for a show at the PPAC.
