We had lunch at Proverbial Wine Bistro and were very pleased. The atmosphere is very modern, sleek and clean. The wine selection is very nice with a great full cocktail bar with seating. The food is very good and there is a wide of small dishes that can be combined. The hot chicken was delicious. Our server was very friendly and very attentive.

Our server, Hannah, apparently has only been working here for a week. You couldn’t tell, because she was so incredibly friendly and hospitable!! I mean just fantastic service! And the food…wow!! It was so flavorful while also retaining the flavors of the different portions of the dish. I mean just everything about this place is PHENOMENAL. We came for brunch, but I can’t wait to come back for dinner!!!

Proverbial Wine Bistro is easily one of the most beautiful and well put together spots in Prairieville. The aesthetics are incredible from the moment you walk in, with a warm, elevated atmosphere that feels both modern and comfortable. You can tell a lot of intention went into the design, and it sets the perfect tone for a great dining experience.
They recently made some modifications to the menu, and the updates were awesome. I tried one of their seafood boards, and while I can’t remember the exact name, it was packed with flavor and quality. I also had a steak dish that was absolutely amazing. I wish I would have grabbed a picture before diving in, but it was too good to wait.
The drinks were on point, and the wine selection was excellent. Brennan and Peyton are phenomenal. I have known these guys for a while, and they never fail when it comes to custom cocktails, wine recommendations, and top tier service. They always deliver, and they always elevate the experience.
Honestly, I cannot say a single bad thing about this place. Everything is good here. From the food to the drinks to the service, they consistently get it right. Proverbial Wine Bistro is definitely a 5 out of 5, and I highly recommend it to anyone who has not tried it yet. Thank you for reading.

We will be back! The service was phenomenal and the food was incredible! We had flatbread, a side of the Rockefeller spinach, an appetizer of the halloumi and finished with a sous vide cheesecake. It was enough for two and we brought home some of the flatbread. Perfect atmosphere for a quiet dinner for two.

I decided to come out to dinner on a whim to PWB and it did not disappoint! The floor was full and so was the bar! I was greeted immediately when I walked in and was given a perfect spot at the bar. I ordered some wine and placed my order of the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp. I was told that my food may take a little while to come out because only the executive chef and the sous chef were in the kitchen. Remind you, the restaurant was FULL. I wasn’t in a hurry and assured the bartender that I was fine. Eventually the GM (Peyton) came up to me and apologized for the long wait for my food, but I was perfectly content. Once I got my food I was set! The bacon wrapped shrimp were delicious! All in all, my experience was amazing and the staff handled everything perfectly! Hats off to the kitchen on this particular night for absolutely nailing it! I’m a repeat customer and will always speak highly of this wonderful establishment!

Proverbial has a great weekend brunch. I went with the breakfast while the wife had a beet salad including beef. Both were very filling and delicious. The full bar service helped out with Bloody Marys and Mimosas. There was nothing we didn’t like!

We had the Seafood Board, A steak board with cream spinach, cauliflower au-gratin and so much more!! The dessert board was out this world. Please if you haven’t check them out you’re missing out. Best Dinner I’ve had this year hands down !! Will definitely going back .

I like small bites and this place has a nice selection of boards to choose from. I had the seafood board and I really enjoyed it. I’m not a tuna tartar person so my friend finished that off. Nice vibe and atmosphere. We also had the dessert board. I will be back to try the other boards. I hope they add where you can add cheese or sausage selections to any board. That would be awesome!
