LOVE this place!!! The food is incredibly well made and the ingredients are always fresh. In particular I love the carnitas and chicken tacos and the corn cup/corn nachos. The owners are also incredibly kind and lovely, they really are passionate about their business and it shows through their food. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Easily some of the best tacos in Corpus. I tried the al pastor, carne guisada, and carnitas tacos with a side of pozole verde, and everything was really good. The tortillas were the highlight—fresh, warm, and clearly homemade. The carne guisada stood out the most, tender and packed with flavor. The al pastor and carnitas were both solid and well seasoned. The pozole verde was flavorful and made a great side. Service was fast, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Overall, a great meal and a place worth coming back to.

Came to Buen Provecho for lunch, incredible meal and experience.

I ordered the 5 taco plate with all the meats, they were all outstanding, especially the arrachera, the meat was melt in your mouth and loaded with flavor. I also ordered the nachos with arrachera, which were fantastic, the combination of corn, queso, their chips, and arrachera was out of this world.

Both of the owners came out to talk to us about their business and the food. They were extremely nice and thoughtful. They mentioned they get their meats from a local butcher and they don’t skimp on their ingredients.

We are from Austin and this blew everything I’ve had in Austin out of the water. Will definitely be back next time we are in Corpus. Please go and try them! Places and people like this deserve all the success. You will not be disappointed.

Delicious! The food is full of flavor and the passion behind each dish clearly shows in the presentation. Worth every penny and not your typical taqueria (which are great). They’re doing something different and special here.

This place is serious about good food and great hospitality!!! I’m not really usually a big steak fajita fan but these blew me away!! The birria tacos were a close second and the elote nachos were delicious. Everything was homemade, down to the chips, and it’s a difference you can really taste. Don’t even second guess going here, just go and experience it for yourself. It’s a family owned and operated business and the owners were so friendly and really made us feel special. Thank you guys for being awesome!

A little hard to find. Don’t listen to Google. It is on Staples and Ayers, not on 10th.if you blink you’ll miss it. DO NOT BLINK! If you do you will miss the BEST street tacos. Their carnitas taco was so good I wish I had ordered a dozen. That way I would have some for later! There is a very good amount of meat on each taco. You will not leave hungry! Each combo is served with limes and a cup of salsa verde. While spicy, it is full of flavor. Definitely get the street corn nachos as your side. This little taco shop is family owned and operate that welcomes you in and treats you like welcomed guests. The decore is fun and funky. I got the taco combo. Your choice of three meats (they have five), a side, and a drink. I chose the street corn as a side, and while it was delicious, I am sad I didn’t get the street corn nachos. They are only open for lunch, so plan accordingly.

Pros:
-The atmosphere of the place was beautiful I loved the art work, and the culture vibes.
-The food presentation I give a 10/10.
-We also got our food within a timely manner.
-Cleanliness was great. Very clean and organized place to eat.
-Music was perfect.

Cons:
-There was no hostess or anybody welcoming you, or there to talk to you about the menu.
-The guy that was taking the orders said maybe one or two words to me, and probably didn’t even look at me.
-It was extremely warm in the place. I am sure it was bc the sun was beaming right on the window above everyone, there was also a lot of people in there, which didn’t help with the temperature.

Food:
As for my food, I ordered the carnitas tacos with a water. ($14 and some change) It came with 5 corn tortilla tacos that had A LOT of meat in them. However, although the carnitas meat was perfectly tender it was a little too salty for me, as well as my co worker who also tried a taco. I could only handle 2 tacos bc they were just a little too salty for me.

However, the corn tortillas were perfect. I am ASSUMING they were homemade corn. They were the perfect size and thick as well, they didn’t tear as you were eating the taco. The green salsa went perfect with my tacos. It wasn’t spicy at all. The cilantro was fresh and they put a perfect amount of queso fresco on top.

My friends ordered the nachos which I also tasted and they were very good, the flavors blended well, I loved the corn in the nachos that was something different. The only minor issue was there were onions put in one of my friends meals after she asked for no onions. However, they were very busy so we didn’t make a fuss about it.

I write reviews on Yelp and google. However, could not find this place on Yelp.

OVERALL I’d give this place a 8.75 / 10. I will return again and want the nachos next time. It is a place I do recommend taking friends, a date, or just to go grab a bite by yourself, the seats are limited but there are some outside seats and tables. The food was fresh, good, and you can tell that the owner loves what they do.

I added some pictures.
