Beer selection was fantastic and diverse, however, the cornerstone of any German beer hall, the pretzel, fell short sadly – On par with basic high school sports concession stands. Still a phenomenal time to be had on a date or with friends if you love a good German brew!

Awesome German pub the staff are great super friendly! The Bier is delicious! And it’s always changing so many different styles of bier to try. There food is superb the sandwiches are so tasty and the soups are amazing! There Octoberfest are really fun, they also have a punch card you can do to get free stuff and eventually your own stein!!

Super cozy location with tons of regulars – legit German beers and menu. (I was too full from eating down the street, but everything I saw come out of the kitchen looked great.) And, yes, they have what every German bier-und-wurst joint should have: those little bottles of Underberg to chill out your digestive system.

Stopped in on 7/29/22 at around 8:30 PM. We had a layover in Boise and were looking to eat a quick bite, and Prost did not disappoint! Came on a Friday evening and it was pretty busy, but the staff accommodated us at the end of the bar, and gave us suggestions on where we could store our bags while we ate. Waitress was quick, kind, and helpful when it came to the menu. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. Friendly staff, great food, cold beer!

This place has many varieties of German beers. I had the Weihenstephaner Dunkel Weisse. I only wish they had schnitzel. I’ve been here several times and the food doesn’t disappoint, what with the tiny kitchen area.

Great selection of German biers with a nice selection of eats. Staff is very helpful and polite. Wish there was one closer to home (or maybe it’s a good thing there is distance between us!).

I enjoyed atmosphere of the bar until the bartender with the back tattoo became extremely rude over a misunderstanding. I tried to resolve it with her but she doubled down on her vitriol. Had she have accepted my apology over this misunderstanding I would not have written this poor review. I have never been treated so poorly at an establishment before.

First time here, will definitely be going back! I had the smoked bratwurst sandwhich with the wild root chips, and of course a Paulaner Hefe-Weizen.

Best selection of German beer that I have been able to find in Boise so far and fair prices. Definitely want to stop here if you know what a good bier is.

I came in and was intimidated by the very German menu. I looked around and thought I was in Germany and felt very foreign. However, (!) The staff helped me out understand the menu and gave me a great recommendation on the beer. Soon I was consumed by the setting and really enjoyed stepping out of the day to day and stepping into a European country side pub. The bar tender helped me figure out the right beer for me and it was delicious( I’m more of a IPA fan and it was not here, but I found a tasty bitter beer anyways. I found out it came from the 2nd to oldest brewery in the WORLD). The food was amazing and tasty and complex and felt authentic. The same level of authenticity I feel in the Basque district in Boise I felt here. I highly recommend getting a good happy buzz on some great beer in this amazing spot.
