Fantastic experience all around. Excellent German food, and we honestly loved everything we ate. From the bratwurst and schnitzel to the spaetzle and pretzels, everything was on point. The beer selection was great too, with plenty of solid options to choose from.

Relaxed atmosphere, awesome food, and a really well-curated tap list. Definitely adding this to our regular rotation.

We’ve been to Europe many times and this place resemble food and spirit of Good German tavern with communal wide tables, food with sauerkraut and sausages, nice selection of Belgian and German beer. What better can you want from such place??? Will come again!

This is a great local restaurant highly recommend you try it. The Reuben sandwich was amazing and if you’ve got room and you should save room try the apple strudel it’s made fresh and having been in Germany and visited many times I would say this is a very authentic experience
And of course, the giant pretzel and you’ll take home. The leftovers is also equally amazing. I saw this restaurant on a blog and went there with my husband and was really impressed. The cocktails are equally good and unique. This is well worth the experience. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating.

Headline: Prost to Prost!

Service: I have visited Prost on numerous occasions for drinks, catering, and rental of their back room. Throughout all my interactions with the staff they have been amazing from event planning to day of service Prost has gone above and beyond. When I got there for drinks, I have always enjoyed my trip. Food has been on point and have enjoyed the cocktails that they offer. I like to try out their specials and have found some new drinks that I enjoy more often

Location: Prost is located on Elk Grove Blvd in Old Town Elk Grove. They do have a parking lot next to them as well another parking lot across the street next to the coffee shop. Sometimes it can be busy but I haven’t had to ever travel very far for parking. Of course as popular as this place is, it can get LOUD but I consider that a positive and I have been able to get a place to seat everytime. They also have an outside patio in the front that I havent tried yet but the street doesnt get too loud.

Food/Drink: The cocktails at this place are on point! I know this place calls itself a beer hall but quite honestly I spend most of my time drinking cocktails at this place. Having used this place as catering, I have also tried almost everything one the menu atleast once. Shout out to the Jager Fries, Croquettes, and the Haus Old Fashioned!

Charming Brunch Spot
I recently visited Prost for Mimosas and brunch, and it was a delightful experience! The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal. I tried their signature biscuits and gravy. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Overall, a lovely spot to enjoy a leisurely brunch with friends. Highly recommend!

I’ve been to Germany once so I guess you could say I’m not an expert at all. However, Prost’s food was exactly like the food I had at Munich beer halls, and the pretzel was even better. The beer selection is fantastic and both beers I had, a doppelbock and a dunkel, were delicious! The vibe is great, the old building is really cool, and the service was fantastic. I’ll definitely be back to try the other food.

Ended up here with a pretty big group (8 people) and they let use their back room for a Fantasy Draft. The location and facility was great, very open and welcoming. The beer menu was solid, lots of German options, and I ended up with a tasty Marzen. Food wise, I tried and enjoyed the following; Pretzel, Pickles, Schnitzel Sandwich, Fries. Others at the table also enjoyed their food.

Our server KK was fantastic the whole time we were there, which admittedly was like 2+ hours, but she was great the whole time and should be commended. Definitely going back.

Random choice to stop in while out with family. We ordered and split the croquettes, haus fries and hot schnitzel sandwich. All were delicious, the croquettes were our favorite. Every server and the bartender were exceptionally friendly and helpful! Recommended tasty beers and even offered to cut the sandwich in thirds so it was easy for us to share.

Tasty German brunch items. The vibe and atmosphere is great. There’s a bar seating and large table seating that can fit large groups. The waiters are attentive and always checking in on you. Parking might be an issue but it’s totally worth the walk to the restaurant
