I’ve never been to Germany but it felt authentic to me. I ordered the Jaeger schnitzel for dinner and a Franziskaner Weissbier to drink. Both were delicious. The atmosphere was fun – people were chugging das boots when I entered. It had a sports bar feel and seemed like a good place to watch a game. I look forward to coming back and sampling more food and beer.

Rarely do I go all in with gold stars across the board. Prost had me at schnitzel.
Very welcoming atmosphere for couples or large parties. Incredibly clean. From top to bottom. I decided to just go with some soup and salad. Unfortunately, I ordered a cup of the soup. By the time I did not lick the cup clean, I suggested to the bartender that they serve it in a 16 oz pint glass with a fat boba tea straw. The beer cheese soup here is fantastic. Perfectly cooked onion soft and flavorful with tiny bits of still Al Dente carrots. I really did want to stick my finger in there and wipe it clean. The salad was a roasted beef goat cheese and cabbage salad with a incredibly generous portion of toasted hazelnuts. A little more oil than vinegar, but nonetheless, a refreshing and vibrant salad. I ate it almost as if it was noodles because the Cabbage was shredded into long strands. I was so full from the cup of soup that I was unable to finish my salad but I know I will throw some more apple cider than a girl on it tomorrow morning and make it a lovely breakfast. I highly recommend sitting down and one thing that I did notice, they do have a lot of televisions and they did have college football on. Consider this an upscale Sports bar? Attentive service just a great place all around. I will be back and get a bowl of the soup this time.

What an excellent German restaurant in a fun neighborhood in Bend. We sat at the bar last November and the service was friendly and attentive. The food was reasonably priced and delicious with plenty of excellent beer choices on top. The food is great for one person and can be shared amongst multiple people. There’s plenty of outdoor seating for those warmer days as well. I highly recommend the pretzel to go with your beer.

Great fun atmosphere. For food, they have the Bavarian standards, and it’s ok and fairly well priced.

I got here after a meeting right when the restraunt opened. The staff were in a good mood, and it was quiet. If you like something light go for the bitburger beer. The pretzels they have are good, and you should get the cheese soup for dipping!

Schnitzel is so tender, perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The sauerkraut is delicious and goes well with their ground mustard. I started with a giant beir and got full quickly. We’ll see how the leftovers taste later tonight. Bike friendly!

Good to see a place focused on dinong and bier with company. No TV’s to distract you from the experience. Great outdoor patio dining with fire pits. Dog friendly. Excellent genuine german quisine.

I went with a group of friends to play trivia on Thursday, we’ve all heard really great things about their trivia and wanted to try it out. Walked in and was greeted by a woman asking us the basics “how many for dinner?” I explained 3 for dinner and two more would be joining us for drinks and trivia. We sat down and she came back over quickly to ask us what we wanted to drink. One of us ordered but two of us still needed time with the menu due to allergies, but would love some water. She rolled her eyes rushed away and made no effort to acknowledge we asked for water. Then she came back again before bringing back the beer that was ordered and pressed us for drinks again, pressured into ordering we picked quick but had some questions about the menu. We wanted to know her opinion on a couple of entrees, asking which she would choose if she was picking one. She blatantly ignored the questions, assumed we were just ordering those items wrote them down rolled her eyes again and walked away. We were given 1 set of silverware to share between the 3 of us for a soup, cabbage rolls, kabasi sandwich and one other appetizer. She would drop things on the table and rush away so we couldn’t ask for anything else. If we weren’t ordering another drink or if we wanted water she’d huff and walk away. It was extremely poor service. Pretty disheartening because we had a great time playing trivia but probably won’t be going back. By the end of the night she had rolled her eyes at us so much we lost count. I understand working in service, my friends and I have done it for over 10 years. Trivia nights can be busy, we’re a bunch of 30-45 professionals trying to have a relaxing evening. But her attitude towards us was unacceptable. We even watched her snap at a man whose group canceled on him the last minute.
I do want to say, every other staff member (i.e. bartender or bar back) working during trivia that brought us a drink or a meal was extremely friendly, polite, and genuinely seemed happy to be there.

Opened in 2021, I can’t believe I haven’t been here until now since as far as I’m concerned, it’s hard to go wrong with German beers, which Prost features plenty of. While the atmosphere was mildly German kitsch, this is trivial observation in lieu of the food and service. The service was uber friendly and the bratwurst were stunningly authentic. I will definitely return!

Our server was amazing, just so cheery and on top of it – the happy mood was infectious.
Our party had beer, wine, and a cocktail and all were phenomenal, and the small outdoor patio was perfect in the sunny and warm weather.
Great food too – the happy hour was great to try a bunch of stuff.
