I was there for a Soupbelly pop-up lunch and was delighted to see how adorable the little complex where Proper Hop is located is! Loved their Monday Night Brewing sour called Mischief Managed. Service was super friendly and they let me sample two sours before I decided. Also loved the locally crafted Ranch pretzels they were selling on a display to the side of the bar.

Love this area. It’s not as crowded as Canton St, and there’s easy parking. I can’t remember what the building used to be, but we were trying to figure it our based on the mismatched tile & wood floors. Nice chill vibe to gather with friends with a variety if local brews and then some.

Good place. Staff, who may be the owner, was friendly and attentive. Plenty of seating options. Place is clean and gives off an upscale vibe, aesthetically speaking. I’ve been meaning to visit for a while and glad I did. You can order food via app from Moxi burger and have it delivered to you. Places does draft and can pours. Good in-state and out of state beer options.

Really excited that this place opened! Awesome atmosphere, great staff and a fantastic beer selection that is definitely Properly Poured! Very relaxing place with indoor and outdoor seating surrounded by Historical buildings. Parking is in the rear.

Love Proper Hop Taphouse! They have a solid crew working there! Excellent beer selection! Patrick cleans out his lines every 2 weeks and because of that every beer is so fresh! Lots go into what beers he puts on tap and I respect that! Great atmosphere with outdoor seating!

The team is consistently gracious, professional, and accommodating, making planning and execution seamless. The downstairs space is a hidden gem complete with outdoor seating – comfortable, and perfect for large gatherings. I love this place so much. I live in the city but come up to Roswell to my workshop every week to build modern furniture and I love coming here after work, feels like a home away from home, can’t say enough nice things about the ownership and people that frequent this place. Every. Single. Time. we come to the Hop, we are welcomed with generosity and authenticity. The quality of the beer selection doesn’t hurt either! I mean seriously, Pat’s curated lineup always hits the spot regardless of season.
We love the atmosphere with all the wood and greens that make for a calm environment. You can always count on good conversation and sharing some laughs, whether it’s jam packed or just us and Pat there.
Cozy but large enough to host quite a few folks! This has quickly become a staple in the Roswell neighborhood and a go-to for local and international brews.
You also have the benefit of being right next to Moxy Burger which delivers to the Hop. PLUS, there’s an incredibly successful vendor/food truck partnership rotation that brings in some mouthwatering, award-winning food.
Cannot overstate how much we love spending a couple hours here knowing we’re supporting a local biz owner who is investing in our community. (Bonus points for the pups we get to see and all the raffles and giveaways.)
