I was in town visiting my daughter and we stopped there, oh my goodness the service at this place was absolutely top-notch. The blue haired bartender was amazing You Can Tell She’s been doing this a while because she is very good at what she does and made our visit amazing. We went out to a bar called Proof in Omaha for a friend’s birthday. There’s a huge selection of scotch to choose from and there mixed drinks are tasty and they have a good beer menu as well. I had the house Old Fashion for $5. It was not bad but also not the best I’ve had. I would probably order a different one the next time just to see the difference but I’d still order this one. They have a very small selection of food to choose from as it is not a restaurant but an actual bar. The music was fun and sounded like you were in a Speak Easy. The bartenders were dressed up in suit vests which made the feel of the bar even more like something from the roaring 20s. They were polite and attentive. Even the owner visited our table and was sociable with us. This was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely go back.

Really friendly staff and the drinks were great. Had the football game on so we hung out for quite a while. Drinks were not cheap but about what you would expect at that type of bar.

Really great place. Everyone there is really nice and super caring and the drinks are good.
The new guy is super nice too. I accidently fell asleep cause sports was on and he made sure I was ok. The fizzy violete drink is better than the non fizzy one.

I’m in love with this place. If you like incredibly flavorful, boozy drinks, THIS is your place! We tried several of the “house” cocktails on the menu and we were blown away by them all. (And between me and my friend, we tried several of the drinks) also liked their hummus and spinach dip apps to munch on. The atmosphere and the ambience of the place was awesome too! Can’t wait to come back!! Also shout-out to the bartender Jackie for being awesome and making our drinks with perfection. Worth every penny! ❤️❤️❤️

The drinks were great, reasonable pricing, proper glassware for neat whiskey. Most impressively, I watched a single server handle a wedding party of 40-60 show up by surprise. She did exceedingly well at handling a surprise crowd at 3 pm.

Proof is the perfect spot for a crafted cocktail. They have a great selection of bourbon and scotch with extremely talented mixologists behind the bar.
If you’re looking for a boozy, well crafted cocktail – this is the place to be. It is fun to watch the mixologists climb the latter and create intricate cocktails. The mixologists are all great here! Jeremy is quite the character! No matter who helps you, it is always such great service.
They have large round booths so you can bring a bigger group or take a date and enjoy a cozy evening. From the outside it is so unassuming but once you’re inside the atmosphere is so cool, classy and energetic. The inside is so beautiful and cozy – the music is so on point and makes everything come together.
They also have a great patio for the warmer nights!

A very relaxing atmosphere near downtown Omaha. More brands/types/styles/bottles of distilled spirits than I’ve personally seen.
The server was extremely knowledgeable and tailors a flight of whiskey/bourbon to your tastes.
The flight that was created for me was very good and allowed me to try some brands/labels that I’ve never had. All were excellent.
Going there on a Wednesday has the added benefit of 25% off the tab. However, deducting a star because the tab didn’t reflect the 25% so had to ask. That shouldn’t have had to happen.

Meghan Bird
We got married at the Empire Room on 8/7/20. Between pictures and the ceremony we wanted headed to Proof for a libation and a second to collect ourselves before the big ceremony. We also wanted to snag some pix with the super cool bar at Proof. The bartender was AMAZING. So helpful for our big group. So entertaining and even gave us a wedding present (see pix). We enjoyed ourselves before the wedding and even headed over after the party closed down. Great services, tasty drinks and really cool atmosphere!
