Just discovered Pronto Italian Sandwiches (downtown Hinsdale)—and wow, what a find.

I ordered The COPPOLA Chicken Parmesan on Toscanino Torpedo Bread with melted mozzarella, pesto, and vodka sauce. It came with two thick pieces of chicken, breaded fresh per order, and it was unreal. Crispy, cheesy, saucy perfection with every bite.

It may have been THE BEST Chicken Parmesan sandwich I’ve ever had.

As an Italian myself, I really appreciate when a place respects what real Italian food is about — simple, fresh, high-quality ingredients done right. Pronto Sandwiches absolutely nails that. The sandwiches are outstanding, and their Schiacciata bread is heavenly—perfectly crisp on the outside, light and airy inside, and it makes every sandwich incredible. All of their salads and soups are delicious, especially the chef’s healthy bowl; it is highly recommended. The homemade vodka and pesto sauces taste like something straight out of a family kitchen, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh and high-quality. It’s the kind of food that reminds me of meals growing up—simple, authentic, and full of flavor. Even the espresso is excellent, which is something I always pay attention to. It’s a great new addition to Hinsdale, and I truly think this place will thrive. I’ll definitely be back and excited to see this franchise grow to many more locations!

One of the best Italian subs I’ve ever had! The Schiacciata bread is the best! This location is pretty small but the staff is awesome will definitely keep this place on rotation.

Door dashed the Coppola after finding them on TikTok. Such a good sandwich. I was hesitant to spend $20 on a sandwich but I am glad I did. Everything was fresh, the bread was soft, and it was worth the price. I’ll order again for sure.

Great bread, fantastic meats, but some misses on flavor combinations

This place had a ton of buzz, so I came in with high expectations. The bread was fantastic, fresh and crusty, and the meats were all top-notch quality. We tried four sandwiches: the Brando, the Tarantino, the Coppola, and the Stallone.

The Brando and Tarantino were the clear winners. The flavor combinations were spot-on, and the ingredients were really fresh. The Coppola, however, was a bit of a letdown. The flavors didn’t quite come together, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The Stallone was just okay – nothing bad, but nothing special either.
Overall, I’d say this is a good spot for a sandwich, especially if you stick to their more popular options. The quality of the ingredients is definitely there, but the flavor combinations on some sandwiches miss the mark.

First and last visit this afternoon. I ordered the BRANDO, which wasn’t terrible, but not what expected for a $17.00 sandwich. I also purchased a bag of chips and a water with a total cost of $23.71. I paid with $40.00 in cash and was due $16.29 in change. The employee at the counter said she had no change and gave me back $16.00. So I, the customer had to eat the 29 cents difference. If your business is ill prepared to provide the proper change you don’t short the customer. You take the hit. Yes. I know. It’s 29 cents. Big deal. But, it’s the principle. Also, after I paid for the water, I noticed that there was a free water dispenser at the back of the restaurant. Would have been nice if the employee had made me aware of the free water before I paid for the bottle. This all leads me to believe that the company prioritizes money over customer satisfaction. I won’t be back.

Cute place! Decided to try since I work down the block. I had the Tarantino, no pickled onions. My high review is basically for the schiacciata bread which was AMAZING! Very fresh, crunchy on the outside tender on the inside. Overall it was a tasty sandwich however the roasted turkey breast was cubed which I found strange. I never had cubed meat on a sandwich. I would have preferred sliced turkey which I thought is what I would get on a sandwich. I would suggest the mention the meat is cubed because maybe I would not have gotten it. Could have used more meat

Wife and I had the Scorsese. Ran over here from the High School while waiting to pick my daughter up from a vb game. Parking was pretty easy and we got in and out quickly.

I really liked the idea of the whole place but it left me a little disappointed overall. The whole place seemed a little unfinished for lack of a better term. They have a great concept, just needs a little refining.

Sandwich was very good. $17 is a lot for a cold meat sandwich but it was a big portion, tasted fresh and flavor was pretty good. My only complaint with the sandwich was that I only got a good taste of the delicious pistachio cream maybe every 3rd bite. This was the star of the show and gave the sandwich the most taste so I’d have like to have tasted it more often.

Ordered “The Stallone” for lunch. The bread was good and all ingredients were fresh however this sandwhich was a bit on the bland side. Still tasted pretty decent just a little lackluster. Staff was friendly and quick and the space was very clean.. some of the other sandwiches on the menu sounded good so I may return to try other offerings.

I was here once. Food was very edible. Service ok. Here’s the problem with pronto. Growing too big too fast. Their marketing is better than the product they sell. So make the food exceptional and you’ll be golden. Italian guy here who grew up in little Italy. Read between the bread slices!
