We visited the Princess Restaurant in mid March 2023. It was wonderful. I had the turkey dinner, very, very good. Great coffee. The grilled broccoli is a can’t miss! Sandy, our server, was great, very friendly! The owner Lauren was there, making delicious homemade Easter chocolates in all shapes and sizes with her grandfather’s candy molds. We took home some of the chocolate peanut butter eggs and chocolate coconut eggs. They were amazing! I highly recommend visiting here when in Frostburg, a perfect small town.

Love to eat in mom and pop diners instead of chains…and Princess Restaurant was the best!!! So glad we stop. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful.. the eggs look like out of a magazine. Price was great and service was awesome…Can’t wait to come back.

Fine pit stop for quick and cheap eats. They have a large menu and seemly nothing was over $10-12. Came with a group of 5 of us and it was under $50. The food itself was nothing really special but nothing stood out as being bad. I personally had the chicken salad BLT and seasoned fries were solid. In a good location in Frostberg and has an interesting ambiance and historical connection with the visit from President Truman. – BJ

Fine little restaurant. Last visited many years ago but I remember, as a vegetarian, I got the salad and potato. It was so good. Since then I always make salad with a baked potato at home. I would go back and would recommend going as an inexpensive lunch.

I have always had good experiences when eating at the Princess Restaurant. However, I and MANY others are VERY disappointed that you are now closing at 4 p.m.! People work until 4 o’clock and 5 o’clock. You will be losing out on A LOT of customers/guests. I don’t think the new owners care if they make any money or not. They are shaving off 24 hours of business a week. How can they afford to do that? In our area, so many restaurants are now closed on Monday’s or Tuesday’s, or both. Now, this business is limiting choices for dinner even more in the area. This is a bad business decision. I am speaking for MANY other patrons in the area…..please change your hours back to 8:00 p.m!

The food was delicious! It Looked like a diner. Lots of booths. It was slow but our waitress was a bit distracted so I didn’t get my pancakes til the end. But overall we were satisfied.

Chili was excellent with a touch of sweetness and just added cheese and a dollop of sour cream. The steak sandwich was not your typical cheese steak but an actual tender round steak on a bun… melted in my mouth. Just a few fries for some yummy carbs with the perfect slaw. It is hard to get the perfect amount of mayo, vinegar, and sugar. Perfection! Topped off with one of their peanut butter eggs that I will have to make sure and purchase some and take home to friends. Thanks, Hunter, for the tip of a great meal that I would have overlooked. Server even called her customers by name. Gotta love small-town hospitality. I will be back and spread the word. I am usually a PITA customer!

Visiting Frostburg for the first time in decades when my Grandmother still lived there. I felt kind of lost since the town and Main street have changed a lot. But the staff at the Princess Diner were so friendly and kind. They made me feel at home.

Expected more. Food was nothing special. Staff seemed annoyed that those of us from the train were in there. I understand the place is historic, but it needed a good cleaning, and maybe more historical items

Old school restaurant in the middle of Frostburg (down town??). Good and honest service (“The waffles are frozen….but I didn’t say that.).
