I was excited to try a small authentic place and this surely delivered.
I ordered the oxtail which was the most expensive for the day, and the price was met with tender meat, rich flavor that wasn’t too salty, tender collared greens and delicious rice. The portions were large and it would be plenty for both my wife and I.
*Went back next week for curry chicken, with cabbage, rice and pease. Very pleased!
The service I got was friendly, prompt and made me feel welcome when I was alone on Father’s Day.
It’s a humble dining area, but I felt it was clean and I was comfortable. If you’re looking for fancy ambiance, this might not be it, but if you want to feel welcomed with good food, this is it.
Parking can be a little tight, but it’s available!

I used to frequent this spot when they were in the smaller location and the food was delicious and I always felt welcome when I went there. I tried the new location today and things have changed. The guy that took our order was not welcoming at all he kind of was just going through the motions. He was very short in taking our order. I believe that when you have a business you should make your customers feel welcome because let’s be honest we could have gone any place for dinner. The food overall was decent we got oxtails which were good the gravy was good. The cabbage was nasty had no flavor at all which is different from what I remember when they were at the smaller location. Probably won’t visit again.

Was in the area and decided on Jamaican food. The gentleman working in the front was very friendly and courteous. The food was fresh and very delicious. The amount you get for the pricing is fair. This platter ended up being 3 meals for me. I do wish they gave you plantains with your meal.

This establishment has a very welcoming feel. Customer service is good as well. I came here for lunch and ordered oxtails, cabbage, and rice and peas. Food was very good. Cabbage was amazing. Rice was not mushy, just right. Oxtails were a bit fatty but no complaints the flavor is definitely official.
This review was given 4 stars because of the price. $21 for a platter for lunch time is kind of ridiculous. You have to give lunch deals and then dinner time raise the price. You can’t just take take take. And expect heavy traffic on a daily.
This will only make it a once in a blue purchase for many people.

I’ve been going to this restaurant for years, even when they were at the smaller location. Food was always good, but most of all the portions were great and always felt like I was getting a bang for my buck. Everytime I go there I spend a lot of money. Today we spent $87 and last Thursday, we spent $63. Sometimes I would drive all the way from Bethlehem, from work, to go there for lunch and sometimes all the way from my house in New Jersey to go there for dinner. I noticed some new faces who just don’t give the same service as their previous staff. The food portions are small and just not worth the money, the oxtail is a bunch of bones, overcooked and no coloring. I didn’t enjoy the taste either. I mentioned the portion size to one of the staff members today, and he states you can’t please everybody. I hope one of the owners reads this because I do not want to look for a new Jamaican spot to eat.. We really like this place.

Decidedly the best fried red snapper i’ve eaten from allentown to easton. Collard greens were deliciously seasoned and the carrots and onions paired amazingly with the fish. They give a nice size plate too for the price which seems to be unheard in the area. Definitely the only place I’ll be getting snapper from while here.
The chicken curry was also delectable and spicy. Delicious.

This place has some real food. Princess know her way around the kitchen. The menu is great and the food is better. It is a small spot with huge flavor. Slow down or you might drive past it. Located right across the street from the high school and there is usually parking anywhere on the surrounding streets. You won’t be disappointed.

Now I was excited and sat and all and then realized I was charged a $6 tip that I didn’t authorize. Keep in mind the entire time I was eating I kept questioning why my bill was entirely too high for what I ordered. Got home looked at my receipt and noticed a charge for a tip. My thing is I would have tipped if I was being serviced with a waiter and all that wasn’t the case. I would have even tipped had I been asked but to tip yourself without my consent isn’t cool.
