Prince Tea House is an absolute gem! This charming Asian-European fusion spot perfectly blends cozy tea house vibes with delicious treats and a relaxing atmosphere.
From the moment you walk in, the elegant yet welcoming decor makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a little oasis—think beautiful teapots, soft lighting, and that perfect Instagram-worthy setup without feeling pretentious. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready with recommendations and quick refills.
The star of the show is definitely the tea selection. They import high-quality blends (many from France), and everything we’ve tried has been aromatic and flavorful. Favorites include their Earl Grey (rich and smooth) and some of the unique signature options—never disappointing, and the pots are generous.
We went for the afternoon tea set, and it was fantastic value: a beautiful three-tiered stand loaded with dainty sandwiches, fresh scones (crispy outside, soft inside—some of the best we’ve had), and an assortment of gorgeous desserts like macarons, mousse, and that incredible chocolate lava cake that was pure indulgence. Portions are satisfying, and the ube-inspired treats add a lovely twist that sets it apart from traditional tea rooms.
Whether you’re catching up with friends, enjoying a solo unwind, or treating yourself to brunch/desserts, Prince Tea House delivers comfort, quality, and joy in every bite and sip. Highly recommend—it’s become our go-to spot, and we’ll definitely be back soon!

We were around the area and decided to check out Prince Tea House in Connecticut, and I’m so glad we did. We ordered the Afternoon Tea for 3, which came with three refillable tea choices. We tried the white tea, and I highly recommend the rose milk tea and caramel milk tea. All of which were really fragrant and smooth. For the food we tried a bunch of different things like the fried squid tails and the takoyaki, which did not disappoint. The fried squid tails were crunchy and the takoyaki had actual pieces of squid inside. My personal favorite was the crab meat flatbread. It had corn, garlic aioli sauce, avocado, imitation crab, and mozzarella. The smoked salmon salad also tasted really fresh and light. The overall experience was great, especially the service and environment. The interior was absolutely insane and newly done. It’s definitely one of those places you have to see in person. If you’re in the area, Prince Tea House is definitely worth checking out!

Vibrant and cute new tea house for a date night or friends gathering, conveniently near Chapel Street Historic District, right on the border of the Yale college campus. The bright lights and floral decorations make it feel like you stepped into Europe! Lots of delicious appetizer and dessert options. Highly recommend the popcorn chicken (my kids loved it) and the rose milk tea. Will definitely be going back!

We absolutely loved the new Prince Tea House in New Haven. It’s such a cute spot — the atmosphere is lovely and beautiful, with flowers and plants everywhere and gorgeous table settings. It really feels special the moment you walk in.
The teas are incredible, and the scones were delicious. The mille cakes were also so good — light, fresh, and perfectly sweet. Our first visit the service was okay, but the second time it was amazing and made the whole experience even better.
Highly recommend. We can’t wait to come back!

This place is absolutely beautiful. It’s a super cute afternoon tea spot. Servers were attentive and friendly. I ordered the Tie Guang Yin Oolong tea and it was the perfect to share with my sister. The desserts were all delicious. The passion fruit mousse cake was my favorite. It was light and has a citrus touch to it. Definitely recommend if you are around the area or just looking for a place to relax!!

Just went to Prince Tea House w a bunch of friends and absolutely love the food there! One of my favorite was the toast. It was crispy on the outer yummmm! My sons love the chicken tender w the fries as well as crispy chicken strips! We also got the matcha cake, taste just like lady M lol! One thing is I love the usage of the candle to warm up my rose tea ( feel so romantic ) definitely a great place to be if u like to have a small gathering with your friends… don’t forget to bring along your kids because they will surely enjoy it as my kids did!!!!
