Really tasty pizza and an awesome team! There is a wide variety of flavors to choose from, and I really enjoyed the Naughty Pie and Sunset Square. Indoor seating is available and there is parking right in front. I will definitely return again!

Prince Street Pizza and the Detroit style pizza they serve was magic. They offer thin slices too but I was there for the thick! My friend told me about this place but couldn’t remember the name so I waited. I got tired of waiting and I went pizza hunting. It was fine because I realized there are only a couple places before Beverly Hills on Sunset Blvd. that sell pizza slices and probably the only one that offers the Detroit style is Prince Street.

My first impression when I entered is it felt like just another pizza joint selling slices. No frills, pizza in a window and oven to warm it up. Then I noticed the many celebrities on the walls, all the food delivery drivers and the pizza aroma in the air. Immediately I began to recognize I may have stumbled onto something.

I settled on spicy spring (which was cupped pepperoni) and a fountain coke. The price, $10 then to the oven to warm it up. I added crushed pepper but may not have needed it because my goodness the pepperoni had little a kick to it. A good pop and not a runny nose smack. Good thing my coke was the perfect drink to pair with it. Prince Street Pizza was soooo good I ordered another slice, meat lovers, to go.

I wish I had hunted this place down before now I would’ve already had my Detroit slice in Los Angeles “Happiness.” At least now I do, and you might too.

PS, they do NOT serve ranch, blue cheese, ketchup or mayo. It’s on a sign inside so…

Prince Street Pizza is famous for its thick, square Sicilian slices loaded with crispy edges and bold, flavorful toppings. The spicy pepperoni slice is a standout, packed with rich sauce and perfectly chewy dough. The shop is small and often busy, but service moves quickly. Despite the crowds, the quality and taste make it a must-visit spot for anyone craving unforgettable New York style pizza.

I’ve had pizza from a different Price St location before that was great. Got a pizza from here for delivery that was undercooked. The top layer under the sauce still has raw dough.

EDIT: They were very kind and gave me a full refund.

Best pizza in LA bar none. Staff here are outstanding – total dedication to making each pie perfect. Line is managed super well. Vibe is excellent and there’s even a machine that makes sure the water used for the dough matches NY water so it tastes exactly like the original. Perfecct.

We visited this Sunset location twice during our trip to LA. The location was convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful both times.

The slices were great, though we noticed they weren’t quite as fresh as at the original NYC location – likely because this spot isn’t as busy, and we ordered single slices.

Still, it remains one of our favorite places for pizza by the slice! Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and craving a good slice.

Hot, fresh, delicious – Prince Street on Sunset has never missed in my 20+ visits! Definitely my favorite pizza in LA. I always get one Sunset Square slice and one Naughty Pie slice for $16 and that fills me up decently well. You won’t leave stuffed for $16, but you’ll leave satisfied and full enough.

The sauce is sweet and flavorful and the cheese/crust is always fresh. It’s well-worth the difficult hunt for a nearby parking meter to stop and get some Prince Street! Plus, Charlie up front is always fun and friendly and makes the experience that much better.

So apparently this pizza place is well known on the east coast – NYC I think – for their own style of pizza. They do have a NY-Style that is good but they warned me that it is not their specialty.
I don’t have any other type of pizza to compare it to but everything we ate here was delicious. The crust/dough was special and I loved it. The toppings and flavors were amazing. Vodka Sauce and Pepperoni were so good. The employees were great and friendly. They have a little bar if you want to eat your pizza but generally, it’s a to-go spot. Seems to be very popular but parking is not easy in that area, so maybe park somewhere further to work the pizza on the walk back to your car. If it is pricey, I forgot bec I loved it.
