If you enjoy cold overdone steak than this is the right place. Ordered steak Oscar medium. Ended up with ice cold steak very very well done, extra double salted 3 asparagus with a yellow/brownish supposed to be bernaise sauce extra double salted, with a topping of triple salted crab on top of the steak. I had 1 small bite of steak “yuck” to all the folks that like extra well cooked steak. And double yuck to the cold. And not like they were busy. Just 2 other tables sitting with 2 people at each table. Mr. Billster asked how was it. Billster what the waitress referred to him as. I politely explained not editable mine nor hers. He said how about i cut the bill in half?! Lol I thought, I politely said if that works for you sir. 1 bite, and half a sweet tea for me, she had half a bite and a quarter of diet whatever. $47⁰⁰ not about the money, I paid it and left a $12.⁰⁰ tip for the waitress, not her fault. But man o man what an absolute horrible ice cold overdone triple salted steak Oscar. So bad I left the over ¹⁵/¹⁶ on the plate, my dogs would have been pissed if I tried to feed them that. Think twice and take my advice, this is not the place. Trust me!

Stopped in for a late lunch. The restaurant is at the Hobbs Hole golf course. Nice atmosphere with windows around 3 sides looking at golf course. Very clean, and our waitress was friendly and very attentive. Sandwhichs were good. Would prefer dill pickles over sweet. One of the better places to eat in tappahannock.

We hosted a rehearsal dinner at Hobbs Hole the night before my son’s wedding. Everything was perfect- the food was wonderful and Maria was so easy to work with. I would highly recommend Prince St. Cafe at Hobbs Hole!

1st time there since they moved from Prince Street. Dinning experience was awesome! Had the Buttermilk Pancakes. Scramble eggs and bacon. It was delicious. Staff was friendly and delightful. Restaurant was very clean. Definitely will be back!!

Have been here many times and the quality of food is always great, fried green tomatoes are especially good! They serve breakfast and lunch until a specific time so be mindful if that’s what you are ordering.
Wait times for food have been hit or miss. Sometimes it’s super quick, and other times I have to ask if they forgot about us.
In my most recent trip when asking about desserts I was told they only had brownies available, but upon leaving I saw a fridge full of 3/4 different cakes and pies ♀️
Outdoor seating is very nice, just make sure to have them turn the fans on.

Overall I think this is a nice place. I’ve been twice. Both times the temperature of the food could have been hotter. I had to send the grits back to be reheated. They grits were a bit grainy as well but once heated were tasty.

Quiet and welcoming environment. Courteous and professional staff. Coffee and iced coffee were great tasting. Breakfast huevo rancheros and chorizo and potato burrito were delicious. Highly recommend visiting this Cafe. ｡◕‿◕｡
