We stopped here for drinks before dinner in the area, and were glad we did! Without a reservation, we were able to get a high top in the bar area, adjacent to the open kitchen. We enjoyed several house cocktails, especially The Primrose and Les Fleur Au Vent. All were well made/balanced and decently priced. We didn’t eat given we were on our way to dinner, but the food coming out of the kitchen all looked great!

Absolutely fantastic dinner on Friday night, sat at the bar and Tina was a blast! The old fashioned and primrose cocktails were awesome. Started with the Steak Tartare then Tina suggested the Ribeye, which was perfectly cooked, great flavor, I also added a scallop on the side and wow!

Truly amazing experience. The kitchen was cognizant of my allergies and are doing some amazing work over at primrose! Every bite was extremely well executed, fresh, delicious – classic recipes done extremely well. The oysters were so fresh and fantastic and were served with an amazing passion fruit mignonette. The tartare was so die for. The king crab lettuce wraps were out of this world – I am still drooling over them (pro tip – add caviar to the crab). Entrees we’re delicious, and we loved the option of 3 oz pours on some really excellent wines. Our server was knowledgeable, professional, and gave us the perfect amount of attention. The staff and management worked together well and made us feel very well taken care of. 10/10

Primrose had a happy hour that goes till 6pm and the oysters and “cannibal sandwiches” (aka beef tartare) were both delicious and great value. My husband got the duck 2-ways which was a generous portion sized and pretty well cooked (breast was more medium rare than medium so a little chewier than perfect). We also got the Brussels sprouts and I got the Fowl and Jowl, which is why I took away a star. Brussels were crispy but oily. Fowl and Jowl was a whole quail and pork cheeks and while the quail was smoky and well cooked, deboning the bird was a bit tedious. Pork cheeks were fine, but just not something I’d order again.

Wow, we had a very nice dinner tonight with unique entrees of locally supplied ingredients. A must try when you’re in the area! The best part was after dinner we had a wonderful conversation with an extremely knowledgeable waitress who I am sorry but I didn’t get her name but she is the one moving back to Arizona soon. She knows the business inside and out and if you’re a true foodie she was such a joy to speak with! Best of luck to you young lady, you took a 4 star review to a solid 5 star and made a good evening great!

We got all the seafood appetizers at happy hour. Fine selection of drinks and bites. Not too busy, our server Ryan was nice, there are some huge TV screens at the bar. Small portions for appetizers but loves the open air kitchen.

We had a wonderful meal here yesterday evening. It was some of the best food we’ve eaten in a long time. I had the Chilean sea bass which (despite us being far inland) was delicious and beautifully cooked, crispy on the outside. My wife had a mouth-wateringly good steak. The sides and dessert skewed toward “unique”, which we really appreciated, since they felt like something we couldn’t get elsewhere. The cocktails were similarly unique and excellent (I tried one called the 6 O’Clock Somewhere which I loved). The service was attentive. All in all, it was a great experience. It’s expensive but quite worthwhile as a special treat — we’ll definitely be back.

Amazing seasonal menu. Prompt, knowledgeable staff and open kitchen. Got the seabass and lamb and both were perfectly garnished. Went here on a Thursday and it was already packed so make sure you get a rez!

I dined for the first time for a special occasion at Primrose, my Birthday. We had 2 friends, my father and mother . I saved going to Primrose for the first time for this special occasion. Heard so many good things from my neighbors and other friends. I can tell you, none of us will be back, it was probably one of the worst experiences we ever had dining out in a long time. Waitress was rude and nothing for my birthday….totally ignored, not even a free ketchup packet? You have to order everything at once apps, cocktails, entrees, owner is controlling but not present with the rules he imposes. Wine list is overpriced and lame along with overpriced food for what you get. Service is terrible and little ones at the bar making so much noise. there are so many other great restaurants in our town to eat with great ownership/management, avoid this one. At least the owner claims on social media he, “Owns the Building”.
