Cool location and great patio for those who prefer to sit outside. It took a long time to get seated and a while for our server to attend to us, but she was kind and personable once she arrived. We only had drinks on the patio, so I can’t speak to the quality of the food, but the drinks very delightful. Expect to pay a pretty penny for your drinks, but they are lovely and can be enjoyed alongside the river walk views.

It’s pretty new. Great ambiance. Seems like the staff were all getting into the routine. Friendly and attentive. The servings are pretty hefty. Although the guac had a little bit too much cilantro. It over powered it.

Clean. Love the individual washrooms. But I could see that being an issue when it gets super busy.

Primo’s is one of the much anticipated restaurants on Flower Mound’s Riverwalk.
The restaurant is gorgeous – lovely tile work and decor. Very nice ambiance!
There is a nice selection of drinks, and the bar was a festive, lively atmosphere.
The food was good. I enjoyed my veggie fajitas. They were very tasty and a nice portion size. My husband was a little disappointed that his chicken soft tacos included shredded chicken instead of grilled chicken..but he will remember for next time.
The service could have been a little better. We were greeted with smiles from everyone, but they seemed to be short-staffed. It appeared that they only had two servers working on a Friday night, so we did experience a few delays. However, there were two auxiliary staff members who were very eager to help when we needed something.

Perfect location, amazing food, kind and attentive staff. Absolutely delicious Tex-Mex plates. I chose a personal favorite for my first visit; the Chile Relleno with the spiced beef added. It had such a full flavor and was a large portion, perfectly cooked Chile that was not too soft, but not crunchy. I visited almost right at 6pm, but still only had to wait for about a half hour to get my meal, and I spent that quality time out on the patio next to the river, enjoying the view. This was a great experience overall and I’m looking forward to return and try everything on the menu. Delicious.

Amazing dining experience. We made the dinner reservations, seated immediately followed by water, chips&salsa, drinks, entrees and dessert were served efficiently. The quality of the food is great, clean, well decorated open space.
Our server Jesiah was super nice; every person who approached our table was super polite. Please be sure to make a reservation beforehand. They also have patio seating which we did not use due to a cold evening. Must try.

We ate at Primos but since it’s the same kitchen as Sfereco (pre Pie Hole) it was great to have both choices!
Grant promptly took our beverage and appetizers order. We had the passion fruit Rum (a mixologist special) and Knob Creek whiskey. The Caprese salad with Basil and Balsamic side was mouth watering!! We shared a chicken Florentino Calzone and for dessert we had the Bombolini (think Italian donuts) with yummy chocolate dipping sauce!
When you drop by tell the Handsome Grant Hello!
The food passing was perfect! We did not feel rushed to eat and felt like family! We will be back!

Loved this spot! Such a gorgeous interior and it’s right off the Riverwalk. The service was great and to top it off you can order from the Primos menu or Sfereco’s (Italian) menu! So unique and great for a table who can’t agree on what to eat! The drinks are unique, tasty, and strong. And the food was amazing! I got enchiladas and my hubby got a calzone. It was so funny to have 2 different foods but it was so convenient. I hope Flower Mound keeps this place packed to stay around for a long time. Also the picky 1 star reviews seem to be from when they just opened and clearly they were paying attention to things like barcodes on things rather than enjoying their own company.

Went during lunch. Nobody was in there. Service was subpar, nachos were okay. The masa balls were still doughy in the middle. Chicken flautes were great.

I’ll start off by saying they’ve only been open two weeks so I attribute some of the below to inexperience and getting used to the swing of things.

When we walked in, the two hostesses asked for my name and phone number, to seat me at one of the many open tables….odd since there was no “wait” but I obliged. They took us to a table and walked away. We then sat for about 10 minutes until someone dropped water and then chips off at the table (no salsa). It had to have been 15-20 minutes after being seated that a waitress walked by and asked if we had been helped. She said the hostess put us at the “to-go” table and we shouldn’t have been seated there. She was nice though and got our orders taken.

A little after that a server brought queso over, we said we didn’t order it and he just turned and walked away without saying anything. He came back a few minutes later saying it was from the kitchen. The queso was by far the only positive of the night and was very tasty.

After ordering, some drinks came, others didn’t. When the food came, the tacos I ordered literally only had one very small chunk of chicken. Definitely not worth the $18. The taco salad ordered in my party had a bunch of listed ingredients missing as well. The manager was notified and she was very kind and offered to remake the food, but it was getting later and we didn’t want to have an additional wait. Lesson learned as well about mezcal….it smells like chemicals and tastes horrible (purely a personal opinion there) and I will not recommend their speciality margarita with mezcal.

Overall, the staff is friendly but still in the crawling phase of learning the ropes. The food was just “alright”, but definitely not worth the listed menu price.

I’ll be willing to give anything a second chance, including Primo’s, but will give them at least 6 months to figure out their operations first.

Did I miss the vibe memo here? The place is very nice. It actually felt like walking into somewhere a bit more upscale. The patio and river walk view are nice as well. They do seem a bit short staffed but not terribly. The waitstaff was also nice but seemed inexperienced. Unfortunately my drink needed refill more often than not and the chips were never refilled.
Now for the food. The menu is on the limited side and pricier than I’d be willing to pay for what we got. All of the portions were surprisingly small and while the food was good it wasn’t good enough to make up for the portion and price.
Overall it wasn’t a bad experience but I don’t feel the need to go back anytime soon.
