This place is pretty good.

Seated right away, granted it was pretty slow but still. We got served right away with chips and salsa.

Order the guacamole and cheese dip for a starter. While it was good, paying $12 for the portion of guacamole was alittle confusing. We paid the same for the house margarita.

The entrees were so good. I had the burrito bandera and it was packed! So good.

Definitely will be back.

Excellent mexican food in Northern Michigan! I am used to TexMex, and it has been difficult to find anyone that has good mexican food. Primos does not disappoint. Great food, great service and nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Food was great a little overpriced 12.00 for guacamole fresh and good. Had the banera burrito very good but $20. Had to go ask for more water and tea then it still took 5 or more minutes. There were 3 tables in the restaurant brought guacamole 3 minutes before food charged extra for more salsa. If the food wasn’t good I would not be going back.

The food is well made and delicious. My wife loved her well seasoned delicious shrimp tacos. My son had a huge loaded quessadilla and my daughter had delicious pork carnita tacos with cilantro and onions.. I had a 5 types of enchiladas on a platter which is great because I csn never decide. I appreciated the thin tasty tortilla chips baskets and salsa without charge. The restaurant is clean and has nice Mexican music playing. Service was quick, the waitress returned regularly and was friendly. Primos is nice place for friends and family to relax and have a tasty Mexican dinner.

Not sure what Lily was talking about in another review.

This was awesome. The serving sizes were very large so make sure you are ready to eat or maybe share a plate. I took pictures of our meals. Good choice.

This place blew me away! Never thought of birria enchiladas until that place offered 5 out of 5 deliciousness, high quality of fresh food, SO AMAZING. I lived in Texas over 5 years and have been to MANY Mexican restaurants, this place is AS GOOD AS Texas!!! If you are in the mood for really good Mexican food, go to Primos. Don’t leave without try their horchata! Love it.

Food : chips were freshly served with Salsa . Salsa needed a hint of salt to compliment the chips ( my opinion ) . Ordered the chicken enchiladas suiza with Green sauce . It apparently came with cheese dip ( 1st time for me ) and it worked. Presentation wise could use some adjustments to highlight the plate better . It provided an extra layer of cheese and tea extra sauce in a bottle . It was fire . P.s the sauce in the bottle is spicy.

Service: friendly. Could use a bit more training with sense of urgency in serving but other than that staff are friendly

Atmosphere : welcoming! Music was balanced. Colorful

Reading the comments to better help understand the difference. Price in all honesty is petty fair to near cheap. Usually wet Burritos are above 25 dollars due to the length of the tortilla plus the ingredients. Carne aside plates are usually 25 and above depending on the plate * chillaquiles rice and beans w eggs and what not. Anything Seafood in Mexican restaurants is pricey.
Tacos individually are about 3.50 to 5 depending on the state . Nachos are near 20 dollars and avocado alone is near 2 dollars or more for 1 and it takes 3- 5 to make guacamole . So as a community let’s help out family owned business and stay afloat . Any constructive criticism and or ideas that can help the restaurant please feel free to speak to the manager or owner . Theres no need to ridicule the restaurant over pricing when its higher and not worse in in other areas.

Found this gem as we were looking to try some place new. We walked in and the staff was very polite and sat us immediately. They took our drink order immediately and brought out chips and salsa with our drinks. Entrees were brought out quickly and were very tasty. We had the Burrito Fire and Alex Burrito. The portions were also very generous as well.

Our waiter was very polite and attentive, but also didn’t hover over us. During our visit there was a large rain storm and he even came up to double check that we had our vehicle windows up.

The prices are very reasonable and once we left we both stated it’s crazy to find a place with great food, staff, and atmosphere and is affordable. I can’t remember going out to dinner anywhere now days and paying $50.00 (without tip).

Overall we had a great experience and have now found our go to place for great Mexican food. It was well worth the trip and we will most definitely be back!

It took about 10 minutes for the waiter to come over and ask what I wanted, but only another 10 til the food came out. There was one free thing of chips and salsa provided, which I ate right away. I don’t reccomend the red burrito sauce. The receipt was in Spanish. They have sidral.
