First time trying Primos in a few years and was pleasantly surprised. Got a bacon breakfast burrito add beans. Very fresh, hot, and delicious. Beans had flavor. The red and green salsas have changed since I last remember, and are also fresh and very good. Bacon could be crispier. Overall would recommend

Extremely over priced for what I ordered. I paid $15 for a junior burrito and had to tip on a drive-through which I found really odd so 18.50 out the door. I won’t be returning to this place, because I think the price is extremely overpriced for the portion. Spending almost $20 on one burrito you think I’d at least get some chips or some thing on the side nope not a damn thing just the burrito. The burrito was good. I got a burrito that was a decent size. The meat was flavorful, and the fillings were generous, but the flavor was lacking tasted like the beans were out of a can. The meat was good. The enchilada sauce tasted like flour. The sauces were just mediocre. Super disappointing because this place is in my neighborhood and I would love to love it but I really can’t recommend. I’ll pass as it’s way overpriced and there’s never anyone there so I should’ve taken that as a sign. You can do better for that price!!!

Really nice spot. It’s like a taco shop with a bar and daily happy hour. Good service. Very friendly each time I’ve been.

The young lady taking my order was nice and professional, ordered the 2 for $10, got a bean, rice and cheese burrito and quesadilla. Food was good, It was a lot of food for a good price, the beans were really good, the salsa was amazing, actually had some heat to it, thanks Primos.

I ordered a Monster Fries and I really dislike it, fries so crispy and hard, the cheese, tomatoes and guacamole was cold and is disgusting eat something that with something cold at the same time. Customer service was kinda bored and meh, like if they don’t want work, no smile, no courtesy at all. My girlfriend can’t finish their burrito cuz was cold, hard and really different to those of us who are already used to eating since it’s not the first time we come to a Primo Mexican Food

I had two carnitas tacos that were pretty plain and lacking of flavor. I also had a fish taco that would’ve been better with some extra seasoning. My husband had a burrito that he really liked.

I’ve never spent $20 on a burrito before.
Maybe never again. But Monday is a special $3 off all of the Monster Items Menu. It was a long double tortilla burrito, a little narrow for the price. (I added sour cream brought the price up even more) lol
The quality of the Philly Cheese Burrito… was epic the carne Asada was perfect, cheese, fries, piping hot and delicious. Ate the whole thing in on sitting. Place was clean and friendly.

This pathetic excuse for a taco shop is an absolute stain on San Diego’s culinary scene. Forking over $8 for a bean and cheese burrito is outright extortion, especially when you’re handed a soggy, flavorless disaster that’s more water balloon than food. The beans are so watered-down they leak out of a pitiful hole in the tortilla, as if the burrito itself is crying in shame. No lard, no flavor—just a runny, tasteless abomination that screams greed and incompetence. Their abysmal rating isn’t just a number; it’s a blaring siren warning anyone with taste buds to steer clear of this culinary crime scene. They should be utterly ashamed, and San Diego deserves better than this insult to our taco heritage.

I ordered two simple tacos with cheese and paid the extra. I made sure they knew I ordered the extra cheese. I got home no cheese. I went back and they told me he melted it on the tortilla, offered to put some on top but never offed to remake it since I had already been home and it was cold. It’s also overpriced and sloppily made. Also very greasy, Mexican food usually is but this place takes it to a hole mother level. I recommend you find another place like me!!!! Sad I used to go there 3-4 times a week…. no more!!!
